We highly recommend this address in the heart of old Polignano. Domenico and Rosa are friendly and helpful and the establishment is run professionally, in the best sense.
The house itself is typical of the old town, tall and narrow with steep stone staircases. Our room on the first floor was very comfortable, well appointed and tastefully decorated. Breakfast is on the roof, a beautiful place bathed in sunlight with a magnificent view of old stone and an uninterrupted seascape. This is the town where the famous sixties song "Volare" was written - about flying in a sea of blue....
We stayed with our 4-year-old daughter, who was given a very friendly welcome in the house and generally in the town. The staircases are a bit of a challenge for young children, so they can't really run around much inside the house. On the other hand the narrow pedestrian streets and squares are a safe and interesting environment which is relaxing for everyone.
We were there for 3 days and were sorry to leave...
