My wife and I stayed at the Bridgeview Farmhouse our first nights (2) in Ireland. After landing in Dublin (from JFK) we found the drive to Kinsale almost impossible - GPS is not always your friend! Once we found Kinsale, Marion came out to meet us and bring us to her home; an invaluable service.

After the tea and scones upon our arrival, Marion went over the breakfast menu, times and asked if we had any questions, she also noted a few restaurants in and around the area. We picked a restaurant, she made the reservation for us, and we decided a shower was in order; the facilities were not only clean but roomy, and modern. The restaurant was fantastic, couldnt have been better.

We had a great night's sleep and the following morning; breakfast was perfect! Marion helped with directions to the various places we wanted to see and offered to be of any assistance we needed.

I am writing this from Marion's sitting room and can honestly say; I am beyond happy that we booked here. Marion was FANTASTIC and I hope I can come back some day soon.

This was the most friendly B and B we stayed at while in Ireland; you don’t feel like a “hotel” guest, you feel like you are visiting old friends. Our stay at the Bridgeview Farmhouse was great. Marion is a wonderful hostess; we were greeted with tea and fresh baked scones,( --excellent). Our daughter was particularly taken with “Lilly” who is a young and very friendly Labrador, who stays outside on the farm. If you or your children are feeling “pet withdrawal”, this is a great place to visit, just for that alone.

The view from our room was spectacular, and we had the added bonus of some gentle scent (clover?) wafting up from the fields below. Our room was large and we had a fabulous sleep, --but not before we had an impromptu cèilidh in the kitchen, where we met some local friends and neighbors who sang, and we played, and Marion broke out a drop of Bailey’s for good measure. Breakfast was full and well made. As we left, Marion gave us a bag of delicious scones to take along for our trip. And she just went out and picked some apples and so we had some of the freshest apples you’ll ever get! Bridgeview Farm house is highly recommended.

I cannot recommend this B&B highly enough. It was a real pleasure meeting Marion and talking with her. A wonderful hostess , a great sense of hospitality and a terrific breakfast of homemade scones (the best I have ever eaten) , cup cakes and of course full Irish. And to top it all, an incredible view from the house!

My husband and I were travelling in Ireland for our honeymoon. We stayed at five different B&B's along the way. We loved staying at the Moate Farm, we were warmly welcomed on a dreary wet day. Even though we showed up a couple hours later than what we planned, it was no problem at all. The room we stayed in was recently renovated and the view was spectacular. The house itself is very charming, not setup like the modern homes. Breakfast was spectacular! I had the fresh smoked salmon with cream cheese . . . all the items served at Breakfast are grown and produced in Ireland, and they were all delicious! I would definitely visit again!!

This B&B was by far one of the best we stayed at. Our host went out of her way for us. When we arrived we didn't have much plans for our 2 nights we would be there. She gave us some options of where to eat at for the night and set us reservations for the next night. She also set up reservations for us to go horseback riding the next day. Breakfast was great and she was out of her way to make us feel at home. I would recommond anyone to stay here. The views from the rooms are amazing. When the Atlantic goes to high tide it comes all the way back to the B&B. We never saw it come all the way back. The beach area is a spectacular walk. Also when it does say farmhouse...you are staying in a farmhouse. The accomadations are not like a hotel but they are nice.

My boyfriend and I just embarked on our first trip to Ireland, and had the pleasure of staying at Marian's place for our first B&B experience. She was a very warm and accommodating host, bringing us tea and treats right away, and calling the local pub to ensure we could get dinner there. The next morning we awoke to breathtaking views of the countryside and river. Marian prepared a delicious breakfast for us, including piping hot scones and fresh cheese. We then took her Lab puppy on a walk around her property, easily our fondest memory from vacation. The only downside was the farmhouse was very hard to find the night before, but Marian gave us a tip later on that helped save us from any future confusion--if you put the GPS coordinates that are located within the farmhouse B&B book, near the address section, you can easily find any destination in all of Ireland. I only wish we had several more days at Marian's place.

Bridgeview was one of our favorite places to stay in Ireland . . . and we traveled up and down the country hitting mostly B&Bs. The countryside is gorgeous and there are some great views! We felt right at home and were offered tea and scones when we arrived. We were treated to an amazing breakfast . . . that alone would have been worth the stay! We would definitely stay here again the next time we visit Ireland!
