The Mezzo restaurant sits high up on the cliffs facing West with superb sunset views over the caldera. Unfortunately it was blowing a gale on the evening we visited and the temperature plummeted once the sun had set, so full marks to the staff who brought out blankets to keep us warm. The food was mostly excellent with one small exception; my partners stuffed squid was a little overdone and rubbery. All in all an enjoyable meal in a stunning location.
