A short walk from the cliff side resorts of Imerovigli is a little restaurant called Anogi. My husband and I ate here to save some money from eating only at our resort. There were very few restaurants in this area that were obvious to the public. We arrived around 6 or 7 pm to a practically empty restaurant (we're american... it's hard for us to stay up "late" to eat with the Greeks!). They had a good beer and wine selection (including local Santorini Brewing Company). We each ordered pasta dishes and they were both phenomenal. Prices were very reasonable. The service was great. Even though the restaurant was empty (we were one of 3 or 4 tables) people were walking up and being told that they didn't have any openings until a few hours later. This would seem a bit perplexing compared to American restaurant standards where if you have a table open it should be seated. So make sure to call for a reservation even if it's never crowded!
