We went based on local recommendations and Trip Advisor. It was certainly better than many or most of the restaurants we've eaten at in Greece in general and Santorini in particular... But that isn't saying much. The food was well prepared but it wasn't, you know, transcendent. (We stayed away from the souvlaki which others found to be overcooked.). It was all good to very good and the prices are very reasonable. The house wine (we had white) was completely acceptable. I recommend the lamb loin and the grilled shrimp, also the house Anogi salad. The so-called Greek hamburger was wierd: a large flat patty floating on puréed vegetable, no bun. It seemed a crime to call it a hamburger (by American standards). The service was fine, and everyone seemed very cheerful.

Great service, beautiful traditional food and CHEAP! You must experience this traditional taverna. The taverna is well kept and wonderfly decorated. Book a table in advance, we arrived early and got a table but when we left there was a que of around 5-6 couples of groups waiting.

We made reservations at this restaurant based on Trip Advisor reviews... however, our experience did not live up to the other excellent ratings.

The service was slow and the servers were not very attentive (order, drink refills, etc). I ordered Souvlaki and the pork chunks were huge and SUPER dry. I had a hard time getting it down. I let the waiter know, and he was nice enough to bring us a complementary dessert to right the situation. My husband had a beef patty... it was average.

Overall, experience was average, but I don't think I would eat here again.

Very good local food but inland so must be booked after sunset. Essential to book otherwise you end up queuing outside. Locals are here too so you know you are onto a good thing. Seems much more authentic than some of the cliffside restaurants.

Food a so good which compensates for not having a view. Must go there if you are in the town. Make a reservation before hand. otherwise, you have to wait in line.
