Our recent stay at the San Antonio was outstanding! The property is centrally located a short drive to many of Santorini's best sites, but away from the crowds and noise that usually accompany these sites. The hotel was happy to arrange rides to the sites and restaurants around the island, but to be honest, the property and its onsite restaurant are so spectacular, one doesn't need to leave the hotel!

Because of the its location it has unobstructed views of the caldera and the beautiful Santorini sunsets. The beautiful infinity swimming pool was delightful and, since the hotel is relatively small, the pool area was never overcrowded. We, however, often preferred the more private patio area near our suite that had sun loungers near the our private, covered entry way - complete with a table and seating area, where we sometimes would have lunch or enjoy a cocktail while watching the sunset.

The rooms are very well appointed with comfortable beds, gorgeous baths, and comfy seating areas. The breakfast buffet was complementary and very complete in its offerings. The very professional staff went out of their way to ensure that we had an enjoyable stay - arranging cars if we wanted to go on an excursion or to dinner, and even going into town to collect ferry tickets for us to go to Mykonos. We really enjoyed a lovely local wine for dinner one evening and the hotel staff even went to vineyard to buy a case of the wine for us to take with us. Simply the kind of service you expect from a 5-star hotel, but often don't!

We have just finished out holiday here at the San Antonio and we were blown away from start to finish.

The hotel itself is absolutely stunning, everything about it from the driveway to the reception to the rooms. Not forgetting the infinity pool that looks out over the most spectacular views. The pictures I researched on the internet before booking seriously don't do the place any justice at all.

The room itself is beautifully presented and a great size, it has aircon, safe, fridge/minibar and a brilliant bathroom. The only very minor point I would raise is that there isn't a shower screen. The showers are wonderfully powerful, however this can soak the bathroom once you've been in. But other than that you will not find fault.

The pool is stunning, there are plenty of sun loungers available, with some on an upper deck away from the pool as well. Our room was next to the pool, where we had our own terrace with a sun sofa as another option. The staff round the pool will place fresh towels when any of the beds become available and will happily put up the sun parasols if you need some shade.

There's a restaurant next to the pool where you have breakfast, with tables outside on the cliff edge looking directly out over the stunning scenery. The breakfast is brilliant with your choice of eggs each day along with fruit, pastries, cheeses, meats and hot items. After breakfast it offers a lunch menu and drinks throughout the day, the staff are brilliant and will bring your drinks out to you by the pool. In the evening it turns into a fine dining restaurant, with absolutely stunning food being offered. Again if you wish you can sit on the outdoor cliff edge tables.

The staff were absolutely fantastic and made that extra bit of difference in our stay. They will arrange any tables for dinner for you, the hotel offers a luxury car and/or minibus as a taxi to anywhere you want to go. They will organise trips or hire cars as well. I honestly can't praise the staff enough. The maid did a brilliant job twice a day, preparing your room at night with fresh towels and a bottle of water by your bed, along with removing any decoration cushions.

I cannot recommend this hotel enough, it's stunning and well worth the cost. It's situated between Oia and Fira the two main towns so you can choose to stay in the peace and quiet of the hotel or head a short journey into the towns. We would love to come back again.

This hotel exceeded expectations.
Upon arrival we were greeted by "Good Morning Mr&Mrs P, we have been expecting you". Such a lovely personal touch.
We were also given a complimentary room upgrade to a suite with a hot tub (room 25) which was beautiful and quite secluded. You could sunbathe on the large balcony without being overlooked.
The hotel pool area was stunning. Very tranquil and relaxing environment with amazing views of the caldera. Although it is worth mentioning that all sunbeds around the pool were reserved by 9am.
The hotel restaurant and bar was lovely. The food was amazing and the staff were most attentive. However, some may see the lunch menu as a bit pricey (roughly £50ish per couple).
The hotel is situated between Oia and Fira and its easy to join the hiking path to walk either way. Both taking roughly about an hour to walk to.
There is a bus stand right outside the hotel which will take you to Fira or Oia for €1.80 pp each way. Alternatively, taxis will cost about €20 each way.
We cannot rate this hotel enough. Perfect location, very attentive staff and relaxing atmosphere. We will definitely be returning

Fabulous hotel - but small enough to be intimate. Beautiful location with superb views over the bay. Helpful staff. Having breakfast included in the deal helped a lot - good variety to choose from. Free internet as well. Nothing not to like.
