I came her with a friend and we really enjoyed it! The place is clean and quiet and the rooms are nice. Not fancy but they have everything you need! The family that runs Villa Libertad is so kind and makes the experience really special! The town is great. The places that are directly overlooking the Caldera are pricier and the views on this side are awesome too!!

We stayed there with a couple of friends. It was an amazing experience because the place is great, clean and the breakfast is INCREDIBLE! The hosts are very welcoming and always trying to help you with tips. Also, if you are tired of tourists and walking, you can chill in their pool (small but comfy). This is a place that I totally recommend!

What can be said that already hasn't?? The Villa is quiet, clean, spacious, in a great location and comfortable. The owners are magnificent people, even driving us to a nearby shop to get some clothes pressed for a wedding. Several restaurants are a two minute walk away and the clifftop walk takes you into Fira to its abundance of cafes and taverns. Views of the Caldera and the glorious sunsets are just around the corner, the local bus stop is a few minutes away as are car rental companies and taxis.
Villa Libertad and the owners are exceptional. If we were to return to Santorini I would not consider staying anywhere else. Many thanks for a great stay.

Room tip: We had a balcony room facing east which was great.

What can I say about this WONDERFUL accommodation and an even more WONDERFUL family!
From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed into our beautifully clean and spacious room with everything we needed - lovely comfortable bed, private terrace with wonderful sea views, spotlessly clean room serviced daily with lovely fresh towels provided every single day. Breakfast served on the terrace really is something special. Delicious omelette, toasties, spinach wraps, ginger biscuits, croissants, yoghurt, tea, coffee - and all lovingly homemade by the owners - simply divine! Wonderful clean pool area with loungers to enjoy the sun, and just a 1 minute walk around the corner, you have the most amazing views of the Caldera, with plenty of restaurants and shops right on your doorstep.
On our 15th wedding anniversary our bed was decorated with a heart of rose petals with '15' in the centre, 'swan shaped' towels and a bottle of wine on a special 'tray' sprinkled with flower petals - such a lovely treat for us.
But this only touches the surface! Our flight home was cancelled and we ended up having to spend an unexpected further 4 days in Santorini. And we are truly thankful to this family for their endless help and kindness. They looked after us for the next 4 days, like we were one of their own, going above and beyond anything we ever expected.
There were 2 nights during our stay when we did have to find alternative accommodation as Villa Libertad had no availability. For these 2 nights, we stayed in the expensive villas, complete with a view of the caldera and a private hot tub. All very nice but let me tell you, absolutely NO COMPARISON to Villa Libertad! - we couldn't wait to get back to this homely, family orientated accommodation with all its 'personal' touches.
Villa Libertad, you have touched our hearts and we are missing you already! Your place truly became our 'home' for the duration of our stay and you made us feel like 'part of your family'. In terms of your hospitality and your perfect accommodation, you have everything EXACTLY right! We will be recommending you to everyone we know and we hope to return to you again next year. Your villa is amazing and your family is even more amazing and we will never forget the time we spent with you and all you did for us. From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU ❤️
