Agia Galini is quite touristy and there are many, many taverna's to choose from...
I decided to follow the recommendation from the Rough Guides Greece book went to Onar.
The restaurant is on the second floor and has a nice terrace with beautiful view on the harbour.
The place filled up with Greek families and some tourists.
This was probably the best meal I had in Crete!
The aubergines were fab, topped with a tomato sauce and a soft goat cheese. Calamari super and very light battered. Just a word of warning... Portions are HUGE. I could have just ordered the aubergine starter and that would have been enough, so do share.
Prices very affordable.
I will come back when I am around.
