Description: Welcome to Kri Kri Restaurant In Kri-Kri, Greeks and foreigners enjoy seafood dishes of high aesthetics and matter. An inside secret, excellent materials, solitude and meditation in the kitchen during the morning hours and the creation of many dishes in two times: the last additions and the execution of special wishes of the customer happen in a second phase in front of him. George Zaharioudakis is always there, so visitors can watch him cook. If come across any noise, don't be surprised: it could be all 16 chefs of the presidents of the USA, Saudi Arabia, Venezuela and many other countries who have honoured the "master" with their presence.

I booked into the Village Panorama hotel, which wasn't bad for what u pay, but found myself eating on the beach front at lunch time, as the hotel was too much of an effort to get to in the heat. I chose Zorba's on the beach front for my first lunch, and found myself returning day after day. The owner, Matheus, was friendly and a really lovely man. In fact all the staff were amazing, and the food was exceptional. The ambience of the restuarant completed my Crete experience. I shall most definately return.

We stayed in Agia Pelagia for three nights and ate at the Kri Kri each night. George the owner cooked us an excellent variety of dishes which we enjoyed, ranging from Greek Keftico to mixed seafood platter and two very juicy steaks. The waiters Alex and Yanni were a delight. Summary, a very nice clean restaurant serving a good variety of food for all tastes only minutes from the hotel Scala where we stayed. We shall definately eat at the Kri Kri again on our next trip to Crete.

Ambitious but unfortunately does not live up to the high ambitions. Seafood is supposed to be the restaurants speciality, the seafood courses we tried were ok but not very special, the fish was actually overcooked! Long wait for the food and not very cordial service.

We stayed at Panorama Hotel, so had to eat out every night, as the food at Hotel was dreadful.
We ate at "Kri Kri" the first night and was blown away by the chef's culinary skills.. The food was really good.. ok its was a bit pricey .. but you get what you pay for.
The next night we tried another restaurant .. think it was called "Zorbas" ... it was terrible.. I ordered a Prawn Cocktail starter and the Prawns were warm and smelt really bad, the rest of the meal was dreadful.
So every night from then on we ate at "Kri Kri" and wanted to bring George the Owner/Chef home with us, as his food is AMAZING.
I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

After trying several other restaurants in Agia Pelagia we thought we give this a try as it was quite well recommended. After waiting more than the time acceptable and on the point of walking out, our order was finally taken. Eventually two main courses arrived but two did not and we had to ask for them. When they arrived the Pork on one was undercooked and the swordfish and jacket potato (which was the days special) was overcooked and dry. When we told the manager he was very rude and made out that we were in the wrong.
Needless to say we will not be going back. Especially at those prices.
The manager was arrogant and a bully, especially to his staff.
