I enjoyed a good evening with several families here. As with all German restaurants, there was no time pressure, and we could all enjoy a relaxing evening together. The restaurant met everyone's tastes, which is difficult with multiple nationalities and ages (from 3-50). Great service, cleanliness and friendly environment. I would definitely go back - the food was good taste, quality and price.

Very irritated that it took us forever to find the restaurant, only to get up to the door and read that they are closed (for several months). It would be nice if the reviews could have advised that the place closes down. Good reviews, however, I give it a thumbs down since the only way you know the hours is to just pop up and see if they happen to be open or not.

We were tired and hungry when we found this little restaurant off the road. We had gulassupe (goulash soup), German pizza (frummkichen) and house salad. It was one of the best meals on our extended trip. The soup was rather thick and very hardy (if you haven't had goulasch-suppe, it is a tender beef with tomato base), and the frummkichen was delicious.

Hint: This restaurant, like many, is closed on Tuesdays.

We recommend!!

The decor of the resturant was modern and very clean, and the food outstanding. The entrees I remember the most were venison medallins with cream sauce and an herb crusted trout that was truly outstanding.

Three of us were fortunate enough to order from the spargelkarte and all enjoyed the best cream of asparagus soup ever! Two of us then feasted on asparagus & ham flammkuchen while the other had his on toast with hollandaise. Flammkuchen is prepared on a thin dough which is the perfect foil to fresh ingredients. The restaurant is near the US Hospital close to gates 2 & 4 (currently closed).
