Europe's largest private technology museum is definitely worth a visit - even if you are not much into technology in general. This museum has anything technology related you can possibly think of. You can see everything from tractors up to the Concorde: motorcycles, scooters, vintage-, racing- and sports cars, tanks, locomotives, airplanes, helicopters, engines, generators, turbines and much more. Among other airplanes on the roof are two Concordes and you can actually go inside of them and take a look around.
With two large buildings and outside exhibits you could spend days here if you really wanted to look at everything closely and read all the information signs, which are written in german and english. There is a hotel next door that belongs to the Museum for anyone who thinks one day might not be enough to look around.
We purchased combination tickets for the museum and the IMAX 3D theater, which is part of the museum, and thought the prices were pretty reasonable. There is also a restaurant with good food and a playground for kids outside. The gift shop has a huge selection of model cars, motorcycles, airplanes, tanks etc.
I can only recommend this Museum for anybody who has even a small interest in technology.
