“A magical place with great service”
Reviewed August 4, 2014

We'd been many times for lovely meals in this stunning hotel. This time, we tried their more informal restaurant Sous Le platane for a family celebration and it was perfect. Delicious food, amazing service. Totally unforgettable!
Thank you to all the hotel team, especially the very efficient and pleasant hotel director.

I almost don't want to write this review as I want to keep this hotel to myself! If you like relaxed hotels with not too many guests and lots of space and privacy to enjoy a relaxed and luxurious holiday, this is your hotel.
Fantastic service, gorgeous decor and amenities this is the ultimate couples retreat.
Lovely nearby towns and excellent huge rooms to return to, we can't wait until next summer.

I almost don't have words to describe how amazing this place is. Let me begin by saying that the staff is fantastic, especially Celeste and Tiarra. They will make sure your every need or want is handled quickly and with a smile. They obviously love what they do and are so proud of this property. The accommodations are decorated with amazing art, and incredible views from every window. The restaurants are superb. Maybe the best value of any place I have ever stayed, really special. The online photos are truly accurate, what you see is what you get. I HIGHLY recommend this place, and we will be back!

We arrived at the domaine les andeols and were already welcomed very warm. The domaine is just great - wonderful service and great ambiente. It is a real place to relax. The service is outstanding and the location is great. The villa we had a big terrace which was facing the valleys of provence with the lavender fields right next to the terrace. I can only recommend this place very warmly. And my family and I will surely return there soon. 4 Days were great, but the domaine is surely a place to stay much longer. THE FOOD WAS ALSO OUTSTANDING and I recommend to book half board. Even if you want to eat outside the domaine in one of the lovely villages - HB includes breakfast and one meal - either lunch or dinner. All in all a great place to be with a wonderful atmosphere. Relaxing and quiet all you need for a fantastic stay. But you need a car if you want to travel around a bit. Simone Hofmann, Frankfurt / Main Germany

Despite low expectations based on a previous visit, the current experience was great. The warm welcome we received from mr. Van Thielt (the new manager) fit perfectly with the wonderful surroundings, great service and lovely meal(s) we had. We would certainly recommend this place to any future visitors of the Luberon. Even though we are curious foodies, we went back 3 times and enjoyed every second of our visits... The wine list is exquisite, consisting mainly of the best wines in the region.

We stayed here for 5 nights in early June. Flew in to Marseille airport and then took a rental car. Took a bit over an hour to get there. The property is stunning. It's a group of houses that was likely a small village and converted into a hotel. We stayed in the Maison Amis. Minimalist interior was pretty cool. Very quiet as well. The room was great but the bathroom area needs work. It had plain white tiles with thick gray grout. Not at all elegant. When showering, the water would flow into the separate toilet area and also where the bathtub was. Had to resort to putting towels in front of those rooms to prevent the water from flowing in there. Otherwise, there would have been huge puddles in each of those areas.
Another problem was clunky Wi-Fi that was hit and miss depending on where you were on the property.
The pool was beautiful and there are big square cushions with large umbrellas, which made for a great place to relax and sleep off jet lag. The surrounding countryside was hard to beat. Acres of vineyards, cherry trees, olive trees. Had some great walks around and beyond the property.
Saint Saturnin is a very short drive away and is so charming because it is there are not tacky tourist shops. There are some good small restaurants and is just a great typical Provencal village.
The staff at the hotel were always helpful and available.

Room Tip: Only 10 rooms. We were in one of the basic rooms. There are other much larger (and more expensive) r...

Dear Guest,

Many thanks for your comment and to take time to write your feed back on your stay at the Domaine. I'm really happy to read that you enjoy your stay in Luberon. I understand your point regarding the bathroom but they were built like this... Regarding wifi we don't have a high connection but the minimum to read email.... Sorry for those two negatives points and thanks for your feed back.

I hope to see you next time and to host you at the Andeols.

Many regards

We arrived on a stunning, cloud free, blue sky day with a 1/4 moon overhead. A magnificent al fresco lunch followed by taking up residence in our Maison des Amoureux equals perfection. Our intention had been to go exploring but we could not resist sunning on our private patio listening to songs of love and resting under nearby olive trees followed by a swim in the perfect pool! Absolute joy.

We spent three terrific nights here loving every minute. The staff was outstanding, helpful, patient. The grounds and distant views of vineyards, olive trees and Roussillon with colorful cliffs all stunning. We loved the quiet location, a respite after days of exploring nearby Gordes, Abbaye Notre-Dame de Senanque, Musee de la Lavande, Roussillon, Apt, Bonnieux, L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue. And Avignon, St. Remy, les Baux were only one hour away.

The grounds are lovely. The architecture is terrific and interiors are slick contemporary with lots of style all beautifully and thoughtfully done.

Would we return? ABSOLUTELY!!

Room Tip: We loved our unusual space and did not see any others. The toilet is uniquely placed under the stai...
