We were looking for something vegitarian in trebes and that was always going to be hard. After giving most of the rest a quick look we went for a pizza. Service was quick and with a smile. Pizzas were good, hot with a nice thin crust and plenty of topping. Price about normal - 2 pizza, bottle of wine and a couple of desserts came to 57 euro. More than you'd pay in UK for the same but within the norm for south of france. All round, good evening out.

Second time I have been to this restaurant and again first class food at a reasonable price . Had the set midday menu at 16 euros. Starter was a salmon tartine with salad. Main course was a large rump steak with roast potato . Steak was cooked french style so might not please all. You then had a choice of cheese or one of two deserts.

Amazed at some of the recent reviews re pizzas. Prices are what you expect in France and they are what you would expect. Perhaps people should be a little more adventurous .

Don't let the casual setting by the water fool you- the meal of the day was true french cuisine! !! Excellent and great service with a smile.

Pizzas, medium-sized average €13. The fillings at that price are nothing special although the crust is nice and thin --> quality as per a takeaway, but with price-quality ratio = poor

A very simple salad at € 13 had 2 thin slices each of aubergine and courgettes, some pieces of tomato and a shaving or two of "Parmesan" cheese came perched on an overload of lettuce on a huge platter.. Volume fine; price-quality appalling.

The boating dock view was active and entertaining but not in any way quaint or romantic. The outstanding feature was the free parking nearby.

We ate here a couple of times but not hugely impressed. Food was average for the prices charged, but the location is great - right on the Canal in Trebes. We found the staff a bit offhand - perhaps they are more 'charmant' to the French clientele even though I speak enough French to be polite and friendly.
