On our landlady's recommendation we went here for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. It was a sunny day and we sat on the terrace looking at the Canal du Midi. We both had the menu du jour, starting with a nice green salad with lardons. My spouse had the grilled cuisse de canard which she pronounced very good. And I had the cassoulet de maison which had sausage, confit de canard and pork pieces with a not bad crust and nice broth. I finished with a nice cheese plate and she had the creme a l'orange which she felt was wonderful. We had a half bottle of Ch. La Grave rose. It was a nice meal. One little note - there was beef, veal and lamb on the menu, none were local - a sign near the bathroom said the veal and steak were from Holland and the lamb from New Zealand. A shame when there are such great products in the region. But stick to the specials and the fish and you will be fine.

Set next to the triple lock at Trebes this is one of the prettiest spots to have a meal on the length of the Canal du Midi and the food doesn't disappoint, I had the best cassoulet & my wife the caramelized lamb shank washed down with a very nice house wine.
All in all a great night.

This lovely restaurant is by the Trebes locks in an old mill. They have nice indoor and outdoor seating. We had very good dinners there for around 20 euros. They were very busy, so a reservation is recommended.

Went to eat here twice while camping and cycling along the canal. Once in the evening and once at lunch time. Set menus each time and very good value. Attention to detail, good quality pichet wine, good service but can get busy and only two waiting staff when we were there. But who wants to hurry in such a beautiful location.
