Arrived late September, around dark. The restaurant is in front of two locks which should make for fun watching as the boats go in the locks. Unfortunately, we were told that there would not be any boats. Probably, if it is dark, people don't usually want to enter locks or navigate the canal. It was still pleasant. Our meal arrived. My wife had the entrecote and I had the fish. She couldn't eat it and gave it pretty much to me. Potatoes fried were rubbery. Fish was ok, nothing special. Our hostess was a charming person. We had been charged with a carafe of wine which had not been ordered. Our hostess horrified removed it from our bill. Maybe in summer months with extra sunlight there will be more boats on the canal. Unfortunately, food has to improve.
