I strongly suggest you eat at the downstairs a'la'carte terrace and avoid the upstairs restaurant. Why? Well the food is very good, but the service is the worst I have ever encountered in a French restaurant even when compared to the worst in Paris. The Maitre'D was the only one serving and he took his time with every thing he did. We were first in the restaurant and as we waited interminably for each course to arrive or be cleared we watch as other unsuspecting guests arrived. The wait before menu's were handed to guests was typically 15 minutes, and to clear our plates took 45 minutes. It was not very busy so I do not know what he did in between attending to guests. Perhaps he was also the cook?
We were sitting by a large open window so could see the guests on the Terrace who were attended by three waiters seemed to receive very attentive service.
Definitely one to avoid unless you like to wait a LONG time between courses.
