Located on the main road into town, just past the marina and ferry landing, the four year young Indijan Hotel is easily located. Free on-site parking is available. It makes a comfortable and convenient base to explore the Peljesac peninsula and Korcula or to just while the days away in quiet, tranquil surroundings.

After a warm welcome, check-in was handled with a smile, and in no time were we via lift in our upstairs corner room # 34, on the way passing an indoor pool and a small sitting area with a complimentary PC for guest use. Our large room with a king size bed, desk, A/C, natural wood floor, a modern, tiled floor to ceiling bath with a glass enclosed shower stall, and a large sink, was spotless, giving rise to the feeling of being the first ever guests. A nice selection of toiletries was available in the bathroom. The crown of the room was the large balcony, almost the size of a terrace, furnished with a lounge chaise and two chairs, all with pads. With a glorious view over sub-tropical foliage to the Island of Korcula beyond the Orebic Strait, it was tempting to spend hours watching ferries, sailboats, and ships ply the waters, all the while feelingof being a guest in a seaside Mediterranean villa. With a comfortable bed and absolute quietness at night, we slept like babies. A gravel beach behind the hotel and a shoreline walkway offer an alternative diversion of spending time.

A bar with a terrace and an elegant restaurant with ocean view indoor and outdoor seating offer libations in a nice setting. Dinner of wild boar stew with gnochi and spinach gnochi along with a Peljesac wine was simply outstanding. Comensurate with the small number of rooms(19), an adequate selection of breakfast items was offered to get one started into the day. All in all, the Indijan was one of the most pleasant and comfortable 4-star hotels we encountered on a four week road trip through the Balkans. We would not hesitate to stay there again in the future.

we stayed here after the season and just before the hotel closed down for the winter. It is a nice hotel, modern and very clean. The rooms are a bit small ..The restaurant is ok. Good breakfast.Free parking in front of the hotel. The management was helpfull There is a splendid walking path on the seaside.
The village of Orebic is not interesting but it is a good base for the boattrip to Korcula. The island of Peljesac is lovely green meditarranean with a lot of winefactories .

Stayed here for 7 nights with my wife on a trip to see the sun and Korcula. The hotel looks great from the outside (though the parking is insufficient and tricky to manouevre in), and indeed inside it is modern and well-presented. The facilities (small indoor pool area, fitness centre, bar terrace and restaurant) are all high quality for the local market, and this type of international standard 4-star hotel is very rare in the region.

All well and good, but even the best hotel can be let down by it's management, and unfortunately the manager of Indijan (Frano) has an appalling attitude and tone. We had a disagreement with him on arrival about the type of room we had booked. Whilst the mistake may have been ours, and Frano did try to help in the end by giving us a temporary upgrade to a better room for several nights, he did this grudgingly and in an utterly maladroit manner - we sensed he simply wanted to end the scene. He later screwed us on the deal by re-selling the room we were staying in whilst we were out for the day, and was outrageously rude and condescending in our subsequent discussion, reducing my wife to tears for the second time and casting a serious cloud over our whole stay in the hotel. I can't stress enough how insincere and surly his behaviour was, and frankly I wouldn't recommend anybody else I know stay at this hotel if asked. There are numerous smaller, more friendly and authentic hotels and groups of apartments in town (and on Korcula) which will offer a far more pleasant stay in humbler conditions, and at humbler prices.

Only other comment would be that in early Sept, perhaps 1 week after peak season, the hotel was very thinly staffed - no service on the bar all day, unless one went to reception and asked for somebody to come to serve a drink - very frustrating. The fitness centre and sauna etc were all un-staffed and actually turned off - I actually had to flip the lights and open it all up to use the treadmill. Jacuzzi wasn't in operation.

In summary - great potential in this facility and it is superficially beautifully presented, but the management has gotten arrogant and lazy, and the attitude of Frano (if you ever need to discuss anything over receptionist level) is thoroughly unpleasant. If we hadn't paid our stay upfront (Expedia), we would have left after the first night and gone somewhere more hospitable.

Room Tip: Make sure you don't take a 'Standard' room - there are in the basement, without balcony...

The guests arrived with attitude since it was not their mistake with booking / who's else than / that we must to fix their challenge anyway. They obviously did not like their assigned standard room and asked to be upgraded. The hotel was fully booked, and the previously asiggned room ( #22 ) for some other guests we had to give it to them since they started making drama at the reception.
Lot of guests are staying on ground floor without any challenges so I just could not recognize their problems. We upgraded them with room with balcony on the first floor also we agreed on the fact that they will have to move to their original room after three days.We also promissed to them if something come up in meantime we will be pleased to let them know.On the day 5 when they were suppose to move again they were not in the hotel on time / 12 am / so we did not have a chance to contact them, also the day before they did not sleep in the hotel as well.
They appeared at 5 pm on the day 5 asking to be upgraded again ,I explained to them that we have sold out the room. As the matter of jacuzzi we did not notice that it wasn't working it was just on sleep mode same as the fitness room when not in use.We at Hotel Indijan are definitely helpfull towards guests and willing to assist with any challenge it may occur, however there are always certain guests that cannot be pleased.

The bar and outside dining areas are spectacular for taking in the Adriatic views and passing boats. Frano, the hotel manager, was extremely helpful in organizing all details prior to arrival and during our stay. We could not have chosen a better place for our family reunion (taking up most of the hotel). The surroundings were magnificent. The hike up to top of St Elijah, biking to Viganj, moped rides, excursions to Mljet and Korcula island. The charming little town of Orebic and restaurants. Family dinner at Panorama was great. The food at the hotel is excellent Mediterranean cuisine with great quality. Hotel staff were friendly, helpful and fun. The value was excellent.

hotel indijan is alongside the waterfront with a lovely patio area overlooking the water. the staff is small; the owner/manager was attentive to guests - he assisted guests who required help using the free wi-fi and waived the charge for our dinner wine because the delivery of our second course suffered a considerable delay.

the rooms were clean and bright, the bed comfortable. however, space in the room was very tight. lobby space is minimal. there is a attractive, heated swimming pool indoor swimming pool.

We spent 2 of the best nights of our vacation at Hotel Indijan. The service was impeccable, our room absolutely wonderful....and the view from our balcony was pure heaven! It had a private beach with loungers, and outdoor patio/bar, a substantial breakfast , a wel-studied wine list...and even a pool. Dinner was outstanding........the mussels were delicious. The manager,Frano, picked us up from the ferry late at nite and took us on a most delightful wine tasting tour on the peninsula the following day. Since we had to leave early in the morning they even prepared a lunch box for us to take along...and delivered us to the bus stop. You could simply not go wrong here! Top notch all the way, from the service, the accommodations, the setting, the food. Won't forget it.
