Thanks to Santa Marina holiday village via TUI we had a great family holiday for one week we had a really big 2 bedroom apartment with beautiful views of the sea and the most amazing sunsets in the evening the apartment was well equipped comfortable clean beds and soft thick towels the cleaning ladies came every day and did amazing job change of bedding during the week swimming pools restaurants supermarket all worth a visit the beach 2 and marina beach bar was also lovely we used the buggy’s to get around the resort and all very well organised the checking in and out was simple with no hassle we used the little train and taxi service into Sozopol old town which is also worth a visit to the cobbled streets and see the history of Bulgaria lots of shops and bars the central beach is lovely very relaxing I would recommend this beautiful holiday village and hopefully return in the future.

Nice apartments next to a really nice beach . Well tended gardens .Beautifull all round. But my holiday has just been spoiled by being stung by one of the restaurants. Partly my fault for not checking price lists . Went for a light meal in the Greek restaurant and was recommended a steak meal. Ended up being charged £100 for the meal ( £70 for the steak). Average restaurant bill here is £40 with wine ( nice and cheap). Just make sure you check the prices for everything before you order. Such a shame as I have really enjoyed the holiday so far and would have recommended it fully but for this experience . I’m now on the lookout to being ripped off and my impression on Bulgaria and its people has been tainted.

This place is like a small "eco-system" - small city with own houses and blocks of apartments, own pools, supermarkets and electric transportation. So theoretically you can stay at the territory all the time cause it is huge and beautiful, it is located on the hills, it has many pools and play grounds, as well as many restaurants.
So there are no hotel rooms, you rent an apartment with kitchen and all needed equipment. But the apartment is cleaned daily, there is a brekfast at the restaurant. So you can choose - or buy some products in the supermarkets and cook or go to the restaurant.
We've rented 2 bedroom apartment and it was quite nice and big.
What is bad there - more than half of the apartments are sold to Russian guys so actually you are living just in some Russian district. Then - all the restaurants at the territory are extremely expensive. It's better to go by the nice train from the hotel (goes each 30 minutes) only for 1 euro per person or take a taxi to Sozopol (5-6 euros and 10 minutes) and in Sozopol your dinner in a top restaurant will cost you less.
The service is not on a top - level - the waiters are lazy and tired of their work.
The bad thing is also about the beach. The beach which belongs to the hotel is poor and small and ugly. You have to go to another one and pay additional money for chaise lounge or you need to go to Kavatsite - the best beach. It will take you 30 minutes by train or 25 minutes by taxi. It's great but too crowds!
So if you need a nice and calm vacation you can choose this one and please take into attention our hints!

We were in Santa Marina Holiday Village in the end of September 2018 for your annual business event - Business retreat - 3-day seminar for small business owners. This was our first stay in the compex and we were a little concerned whether all our requirements will be met.
Few months later I remember this event as the best of all its editions. And very big part of my satisfacion comes from the place - all our requirements were not only met, but overfulfilled. The conference room was very suitable for the event, cleaned twice a day according to our free time, all participants were accommodated according to their requirements, the service in the restaurant was nice and polite and for first time we were serviced as separate customers in the restaurant despite we were 16 people on one table.
All participants in the seminar liked the complex very much (and some of them are familiar with its previous editions) and are firmly convinced that this is the Place for our business retreat!
Our apartment was very nice and with wonderfull view to the sea and garden, very suitable for us. Comfortable beds, enough space in the bedroom, wide bathroom, nice furnished living room with fully equipped kitchen box, free internet and cable TV. And the best part - huge terrace with possibility for 4 persons to sit around a table for a drink / lunch / rest.... enjoying the sea view with fresh scent of pine forest around.
This was a very good combination of work and vacation, mount and sea, business and pleasure.
