I really enjoyed staying in this hotel as it was located in the centre of Sankt Pölten, beautiful small Baroque town.
I was acommpanying a group of 40 young ice-hockey players and I really apprciated the hotel's patience and professionalism as the guys needed to store their equipment in the luggage room and needed a bus to be parked right next to the hotel.
The hotel stuff was helpful, responsive and very friendly.
Also the breakfast is a worth mentioning - very tasty, rich choice and nicely set tables.
What about rooms they were very clean, with relaxing atmosphere and environmentally friendly thinking. You can choose if you wanna replace or reuse your towels and linen.
Enjoy your stay, Betty

The staff is always incredibly nice, helpful and patient. The rooms are very comfortable. The breakfast is fantastic. Great location. Basically everything about this hotel is great! I often travel to St. Pölten and am always happy to return to the Austria Trend Hotel.

A centrally located hotel very close to all of restaurants and main town square. We stay here a lot as it is affiliated with our sons school. A very good breakfast with lots of healthy choices plus the usual cooked options. The rooms are clean and comfortable and there are lots of bathroom products. There is a bar but it is pretty quiet and rarely used. This is a typical corporate business hotel but the prices for what you get are excellent.

The hotel is located within walking distance of the center of the city. There is ample parking under the hotel which cost about 9.5 euros/day. The staff was very friendly and helpful and spoke English very well. The hotel lobby and breakfast room was really large, bright and nice, and had the feel of a big name four-star property but somehow the hotel room didn’t quite live up to the 4-star rating and had a lot of the looks of a dingy and outdated three-star motor inn.

The dark room appeared to be clean however upon walking into the bathroom, it smelled like it had been wiped down with a really sour wet rag! Ick! Fortunately, we had brought a small pack of Clorox disinfecting wipes and wiped the bathroom counter, toilet and tub area with them. The bathroom still stunk but not as bad as it had when we first walked in. The room had a king-size bed, a refrigerator and an in-room safe. There was free wi-fi in the room and several TV stations in English. In fact there was a large selection of stations in many different languages.

The breakfast room downstairs was bright and cheery and the food presentation was excellent. The breakfast buffet had an extensive choice of pastries, dry cereals, cold cuts, cheeses, yogurt, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, fruit juices, mixed fruit salad, cucumbers, tomatoes, bell peppers, coffee and tea.

We have had the pleasure of staying at the Metropol multiple times during the last 12 months. The staff is always friendly and helpful-anytime of the day or night, and the rooms are always clean. For the price, you get a larger room than most European style hotels and the breakfast has a nice assortment of traditional European breakfast as well as American breakfast food. There is plenty of parking and you are just a short walk away from the main square in town. They also have accommodated are dog for a small fee.

Room Tip: If you are a family of four, ask for one of the suites, which is actually two rooms. Room 310/312 ha...
