This place is super easy to access and just minutes from the parking spot you'll be down to a green surrounded waterfall with a courageous current and lots of spots to chill and relax for a little while. One single recommendation, don't take too much with you as there is not plenty of space and you will really just want to chill out in the water.

Very nice little hike down to the waterfall. The waterfall is beautiful and you can use it as a slide. Entrance is 1000 colones

Great way to spend the day! Grab a snack there too! Flip flops can be hazardous... bring runners or maybe water shoes, especially if you are traveling with little ones. The top basin is quite rough, so if are not a strong swimmer it may be intimidating, but still fun to sit in and feel the current. the rest of the cascades are fine!

We were bummed we didn't come here sooner during our time in Uvita, as we may have gone more than once! 1,000 colones per person paid to the restaurant. Short 3 - 5 minute hike down the trail to the waterfall. At the fork in the path, to the left if the main waterfall and to the right you can access the lower pools. There were quite a few different pools and areas for kids to play / swim in. It was fun to watch the brave locals do the "slide" but there was no way we were going to give it a try!

We were staying really close to this spot so we checked it out on one of our first days. It was 1000 colones per person, paid to the restaurant, and a very short walk to the falls. It wasn't very busy (maybe 5 other people around). I recommend wearing water shoes. It was marvellous and worth it to go if you're not too far. Just make sure you see this one before Nauyaca or it will be underwhelming!
