Perfect afternoon visit. I have issues with my leg muscles so there are many places that I cannot like this I cannot visit. My husband and I were pleasantly surprised that the path to the Uvita Waterfalls was quite doable. Along most of the path there is a "railing" (made of a something like a hose. Not rigid), that I was so grateful for, especially on the way back. We had a terrific time cooling off in the pools.

My family and I stopped off here to hike down to the waterfall and swim. Definitely a hidden gem! Water is refreshing and so fun to swim around the pool and jump from the rocks! Remember to watch your step on the way down as it can be a little slippery and treacherous.

We had a great morning just relaxing in the pool while the kids rode the waterfall slide over and over. Would recommend for a relaxing break. The kids were begging to go back the rest of the trip!

This was part of a stop on our ATV tour, another beautiful waterfall in Costa Rica. This is was the first waterfall where I got to see people jumping and sliding down a waterfall. Interesting and terrifying to watch people do this....just wow! The walk down the waterfall isn't too bad, as always watch your step. Great photo opportunities and a place to stop for a some food and drinks as well.

Easy to find from main road, entrance fee 2usd.
On top a small restaurant (more like sandwiches u can have), here u pay the entrance. Washroom, shower facility (extra charge) and very tasty fresh juices!

Steps going down to waterfall, bit uneven but ok to manage.
You can swim in the waterfall lake, you can jump down from top of the waterfall.

There are 2 other smaller "pools" you can bath in.
(No benches or sorts so bring towels, put your belongings on rocks, trees around).
Water clear, fresh.

Good little trip from Manuel Antonio. (Drive like an hour)
