Very safe to just slide down the waterfall, no need to jump. Easy access to the top through the fence to the left. Great place to spend the day

My husband and I came up around noon and it was perfect. Just a few people at the main waterfall and they told us how to slide down the waterfall. It was amazing, just don’t forget to keep your eyes open! No pictures, you just have to go see for yourself!

The waterfall is a wonderful place to hang out and spend the day! There is a natural slide that looks a little scary at the top but is super easy and fun to go down! Don't miss out by not trying it!

Beautiful waterfall and river to play in to relax the day away! $2 per person to get in with free parking! The hike down is very easy -even has handrails in many places! The water this past weekend (9 Sept) was very cold, but quite refreshing and fantastic when you got used to it! Suggest water-shoes as the bottom is very rocky and some algae covered rocks are slick -just use common sense!

The restaurant at the top is top notch - be sure to try one of their excellent smoothies! The people are very nice and very helpful!

A fantastic place to spend a relaxing day and enjoy some nature!

We didn’t have time to do a tour of Naucaya and once we did Uvita it didn’t matter. Awesome spot that’s easy to get to, easy parking and not too crowded. There is a small entrance fee. There is an upper fall the you can climb to and slide down - lots of kids doing it too.

Lower down is a pooled area with spots for jumping but a bit difficult to get out of. This is not a good location for someone that can’t walk well. There is a restaurant but we didn’t try it.

The Uvita waterfall is amazing. It's a few minutes off the main road, free parking on the street, you pay a $2 fee to walk down a 30 second downhill hike to falls. The adventurous can jump or slide down the upper falls and everyone else can swim in the pools below. There are some metal pieces stuck on the side of the falls to help you climb up to the top of the falls. There is a restaurant near the parking lot.

If you stop here, check out Uvita beach with cool shells and neat caves you can walk through at low tide. Paid parking at the beach, also vendors in stalls there.

This waterfall is a great place to cool off and swim if it is not too crowded. There are many cool places to visit near here also, like Bellina Park and Domincalito for little beginner perfect waves. There is an excellent souvenir shop a little to the south and on the west side of the street in a strip mall, very cool unique C.R. shirts and things. Bellina is a beautiful walking beach. Playa Hermosa South is near here for its world class surf break. The local comida typical is overpriced and service is not as good as in most other places. Hit the waterfall and then back to the beaches.

we popped up the road to this natural swimming pool and enjoyed a dip. it is not huge and it is popular but we got to swim and to see the lovely space around the water. worth the modest entrance fee.

Only a 15 minute walk out of Uvita, this waterfall is a great lace to visit if you're based in the town for a few days. You can just swim in the plunge pool or walk up the path to the side of the waterfall and then slide down it. It felt very safe to do this although it looks quite scary when you get to the top!
