Set in middle of the jungle but with the sun able to cut through the canopy. Park in small restaurant and a very short walk to the falls. Entrance fee only about 500c per person. Water is warm and pure. A must see attraction if you are in the area.

We liked coming here for a dip after being at the beach but didn't find it overly spectacular! It was nice but I wouldn't go out of my way to get here and see it!

Safe, well-kept horses. trained guides. beautiful waterfall.
We rode through the forest and pastures to a serene waterfall, changed into swimsuits in the forest, then cooled off on the 3 levels of the lovely fall. Safe, fun, relaxing trip for all ages.

If you're staying in the Uvita area, this a quick, cheap and fun trip. As most have already said, its costs $1, is about a 2 minute hike and you can spend hours swimming, sliding and relaxing away from the sun. I was pretty badly burnt when I went, so it was a good spot to get away from the sun and cool off. Totally recommend it. If you're unsure as to where it is, just ask the resort your staying at or a local; you're sure to get an answer as to where it is. Just turn east up the road where the bank/supermarket plaza is located on the east side of Highway 34 in Uvita.

Walking from town would be dusty, but we had a car and it's just a short hike from the road/restaurant. We ate at the restaurant as well, and the food was quite good.
