We booked online for this hotel, and unfortunately missed our flight which meant we missed one night at the hotel which we had already paid for. I let them know 24 hours in advance, but I got no reply to the email (along with the no reply I got to my other 3 emails). When we got there I asked whether it would be possible to get another night for the one we had missed (bearing in mind we had paid over £1000 to this company in the last few years). We got an aggressive no from Fenny, the owner. We were then put in a twin room, despite booking a queen. We got a very aggressive no from Fenny once again. The room was pretty good (by backpacker standards) but unfortunately the rudeness of Fenny caused an unpleasant atmosphere the whole time we were there. At one point we asked for a plug for a sink and got a laughably rude no. The way she talked to her staff was disgraceful, and I would definitely not want to put any more money in this awful woman's pocket. We had further problems with her & Sipadan Scuba, mentioned in a review of there. In conclusion; it's an OK place to stay, but don't expect any form of refund for any reason whatsoever, and don't dive with Sipadan Scuba!!!
