Ramsukh Resorts & Spa

the appraoch to the resort is bad and difficult to trace as there are not many sign boards on the roads. But once you reach the resort, the experience was pleasant. Decent staff. We stayed in Maharaja room whioch was a decent room with pvt jacozi and not much expensive (14.5k per night). Once in a while to celebrate a big occasion its the next best option after Brightland reosrt.

We stayed in the solitaire room we were three families . I've never seen such luxurious rooms in my life. With private pool, luxurious and full time servant. Services were unmatched. Buffet was served in the room for us. No doubt for the level of services and room amenities prices are worth.

Room Tip: If you want once in a life time experience stay in Solitaire rooms

Mahabaleshwar to many is a cliched place to visit but come to Ramsukh and you will definitely rethink. First of all the location, well it is not exactly in the city and so has its exotic charm situated on the highest hillock of old mahabaleshwar city right behind the temple. Scene's from here are just awesome for taking pictures as the entire resort overlooks the vast ravines below(specially sunrise). The property is well kept and decent if not extravagant with renovation work still in progress at many places. Rooms are decent enough but going by what they charge expected bit more. The furniture is kinda old but clean and the bed wasnt really all that comfortable. We stayed in the valley suites which actually overlook the valley below and really is a refreshing sight. Now to the best part of the resort..FOOD,FOOD,FOOD...Man..am a pretty hardcore non-vegetarian but the (pure veg)food here just make me drool even now remembering the succulent taste and quality. On the 1st night of our stay they had barbeque and remembering the mushrooms they were offering off the skewers still makes me salivate. Special mention of the veg sandwich they had in evening snacks..the best one I have had ever.If planning for Ramsukh please go for all meal plans cause: 1. The food is tooo good to resist 2. The resort is by far isolated from the main city and there are no options nearby till you drive to the city which is almost 5,6 kms.The Spa facility here is good too and so are the recreation facilities. There are lot of spots here where you can just sit and relax on the hammock, take few swings on the swing, sit on a bench overlooking the sky in the day and literally count the stars in the night lying on the lush grass on the lawns. All in all enjoyed the stay here. Will be back again sometime for Earth and Star may be ;)

Room Tip: Look for rooms on higher floors. They have direct view of the valley from the rooms.

We went to Ramsukh last Year (March 2013) and it turned out to be the right decision.

We had a warm welcome at Ramsukh and the food was really awesome. There were many activities arranged however we chose to relax in the calm and pristine woods of Ramsukh.

Rooms were quite OK and we felt it needed a makeover; however the views of valley were simply awesome.

It is a bit deep into the woods from mahabaleshwar market, hence you might feel the approach road a bit scary in case you are driving lateZZZZZ in the evening or in the night.

Ramsukh is a bit pricey and mostly demands a minimum of two nights stay which is a downside of it when it comes to people who would like to travel down to mahabaleshwar just for a night.

Location is very good in case you are a peace lover and want to be away from the market zone. Vegetarian food was awesome and we felt only breakfast needs a uplift with more and good options.

All in all it is a nice place to visit with family / spouse. You won't be disappointed.
