the stories about the victory over the evil by good are every where in the world. but what experience when you sit with calm mind you feel the great God ie. Mahabaleshwar is the God who is really allmighty which enters in you when you sit in the temple with your eyes closed and worship him with heart.

“Old temple with unique Shiv linga.”
Reviewed April 17, 2013

Lord shiv is worshiped in Mahabaleswar temple. Its a very old temple and the shiv ling here is very unique. The shiv ling is like the outer surface of "Rudrakhya" and local people say that its a natural shiv linga and the Guru of Pandava "Dronacharya" 1st did puja of this linga.
Near to Mahabaleswar temple, there is "Pancha Ganga" temple. Inside "PanchaGanga temple" there is a natural spring, which people say that the flow is from sangam point of five rivers.

Krishna Devi temple about 300 mts from Mahabaleswar temple. That is also an ancient temple. I liked the temple and the surroundings very much. But very less people go there. There is a stunning view of river krishna from the krishnadevi temple.

“Oldest of the temples!”
Reviewed April 11, 2013

enroute to mahablaeshwar temple the place is a complex of temples where other shiv temples and shani mandir is located, some of the oldest shiv temples are located here, the place is so authentic, and you can feel the holiness in the air a must visit place on the trip once. and then you head straight for the mahabaleshwar temple where the 5 rivers are merged and the water is said to be of the purest form curing all disease and aliments, though we took a bottle of water, but upon close inspection found it was rather advisable not to drink, though myself had already had a few ml of it..
