We had been to a few bad hotels in Porbander but when we came here, we were greeted by friendly hotel staff. My son fell ill and so the hotel staff specially made pomegranate juice especially for him and responsibly told us what good medicines to use. Our room was big and spacious. The swimming pool was a little bit dirty however the hotel was generally spacious and quiet. I would recommend it to anyone.

Stayed with father, greeted with respect, warm
friendly and helpful staff.

On arrival via Rajokot (missed flight to Porbandar),
we were sent in by room staff. We were horrified to
see the bedsheets in very awful condition, I could
see hair. Made an complaint, changed bed sheets.

The bathroom and toilet smelt like poooh, asked
again if they could sort it out. They sprayed the
bathroom with some deiodrant. Another problem
as there was no hot water. As we arrived at 01:00am
I was told water will come in the morning at 06:00am.

Wasn't very happy. As we woke up, the water was scolding
hot. Again room staff were helpful in bringin in a large bucket
of cold water.

Charges was quite high. A bootle of kingfisher was ordered and
they charged us 30 rupees. However, a few shops from the
same hotel, same water bottle, price 10 rupees.

We actually stayed at this hotel for 5 days, and later came back
2/3 days prior to leaving Porbandar.

Our second stay, was good. Only this time we were betrayed.
I asked Nilesh one of the receptionist, a day prior to leaving
hotel, if he was going to charge us extra as our flight to mumbai
was departing at 3:15pm. So to avoid the booking in time which
was at 12:00 noon. He said to me "don't worry, we will sort you
out", we will not charge you for the day". I said fair enough.

Next day, on the day of the flight, I asked Nilesh for the bill. To
my astonishment I was charged 2400 rups for 2 days stay. I asked
him why he charged me that much, considering my first 5 days stay
was charged 2350 rupees. He said "due to non availability", we had
to charge me extra. I did not beleive him, also he charged me extra
for staying an hours and a bit extra. So he basically lied to me.
I was really disgusted by this type of behaviour. I would recommend
this hotel, hand to heart, but not by the rogue reception staff.

The only positive drawback I would say is that this hotel location is
great, conveniently placed, and also a shop called Tasty Pizza
which is 1 min walk from hotel. They do fresh, hot, puris in the
morning, and they are the best I tasted in India whilst I was there.

Arrived at the airport to be met by the hotel's car. However they did not take our luggage into account so the car that they sent was not big enough to take us and our luggage to the hotel. They arranged for another car to bring our luggage.
The room that we originally booked was a family room, which when we were shown it, we did not like, (nothing to do with the room). So the manager was happy to show us another. We took ths room and another, which mean't that we now had 2 rooms instead of one, however the management was kind enough to sort out a very reasonable discount. The hotel and rooms were very clean and tidy. The staff were very helpful and happy to do what ever it took to make our stay comfortable. The manager, Nilesh was always happy to help wih all sorts, and was able to get us great prices on almost anything that we wanted.
I would definatley stay at the Natraj again ! Great price, good location and excellent staff lead by 2 great managers, Nilesh and Bharat. Thanks Guys, see you again soon.

Check-in was advertised as being at 12.00 and my room was confirmed as my sister was already staying at the hotel for the past week.

We arrived at 6.30 pm to be told by the front desk manager that the room wasn’t ready. After a few minutes, the hotel admitted they had given our room to other guests to use so they could relax and refresh for the day! My daughter’s foot was swollen and she was clearly ill and just wanted to go to bed but the hotel staff did not acknowledge this nor did they make an offer of any refreshments. I was disgusted by their lack of hospitality.

Having sat in reception for 30mins, they offered us the use of another room whilst they attempted to ‘evict’ the guests in our room. Imagine our surprise when we got to the room to find this belonged to another guest whose luggage was still in the room! Luckily for us and the hotel that the guest didn’t return whilst we were sat in the room and we didn’t take anything from the room.

We had more issues with room service – we ordered soft drinks, 20 mins later we called again to be told they didn’t have any! Room service offered to go out and get some from a shop and about an hour later, the 5 bottles of Pepsi finally arrived!

The general attitude of the front desk staff and room service staff was rude and unhelpful and I would not go to this hotel again.
