It is really hard to say anything new about the legend that is Britto's - everything worth describing has been described in great detail. There is something about the classy old world charm of the place and the fact that it's bang on Baga beach that just seems to make place so super. I have now visited Goa 5 times over the last 7 years and make it a point to dine at Britto's no matter where I am based in Goa. Perhaps the most telling statistic is that - I was based 50 kms away in Colva on my last trip, this past June, and still drove a rented car all the way to Britto's for an evening of wine and dine here.
It would be self-defeating to recommend something over the other from the menu - because everything I have had the pleasure of trying has been stunning. Still, if you are a seafood aficionado like me please do ask for the prawn cocktail (chilled) and butter garlic calamari with a bread of your choice.
Living and working in a land locked city like Bangalore gives me a real appreciation for great sea food when it does come by and I always think of Britto's as the benchmark in that department.
