amazing hotel. travelled in last week of april with kids. had booked two rooms no 151, 154----block 15...closest to the beach!!!!
good things about the hotel :
1. on the beach!!! cant have anything closer to the beach!!!!
2. beautiful , compact ,cosy resort with a soothing effect to the eyes esp the green grass, coconut and mango trees and the white villas, fences.
3. nice breakfast, tasty food at the restaurant. prices at par with the shacks on the beach.
4. Spacious rooms - each unit has a loving room with sofa set, a bedroom, attached balcony, safe, stainless steel cupboard.
5.Staff very helpful, friendly.
Really would like to thank tripadvisor and its members for helping us select this hotel and have an amazing vaa\cation!!!

Our 1st trip to Goa. Being the kind of person that is always unsure, we booked for one week. I always feel that if you don't like a place, two weeks is a long time if you just don't like it there. You can always return if you like it.
Well, we really did like it. Wanted to stay longer. Re booking for next year to stay at CSM. Lovely place, lovely people.
Beach shacks are great. with plenty of choice for a good filling meal. Pheonix bar in the hotel grounds was pretty good too.
We bought a ring that we designed for £350 and have had it valued at £12,000. It was well worth it. Bought from Royal Gems in the road up to the CSM.
Also on the road up to CSM, lady called Anita is the best to buy from. She doesn't haggle prices with you, tells you one price. She's straight and is the cheapest by far.
Just be careful how many things you take with you. It's cheaper to buy things over there and bring them home. Costs a fortune over here for clothes and they aren't as cool as the things you buy over there.
Take a trip to Manderen Beach. It's a lot quieter and there is the most brilliant massage place on the beach. Full body massage is 700 rupees (£10) and the English could learn a lot from them.
Go and find it and enjoy. Can't wait to go back.

The hotel is well located near the main Calangute-Baga road & very close to the beach. Nice place for family.
The breakfast was just ok & could be lot better. The European lady taking care of the hotel seemed passionate about her job, noticed her very attentive & taking good care of her guests, however some of her staff lack the expected hospitality.

Since rooms rates are not cheap anyways it would be great to have a folding extra bed rather than a floor mattress for an extra person.

Very important message to the CSM & their guest, be aware of guys from Karma Group (Royal Resorts/Royal Goan Beach Club) waiting just outside the hotel entrance who make you feel you have won some kind of prize with a scratch coupon, its an absolute waste of your time & a Hoax. Their are just waiting to get you trapped into a 25 year worthless membership with their group by taking you to their hotel & expect you to make a spot decision of approx INR 500,000/- on the table. If you donot take the membership you have lost 3 hours or more of your precious holiday time & neither do they give you any kind of gift they promise to by taking you to their run down hotel. Such kind of people can just ruin your holidays & give you a bad taste of Goa. Its really cheap for Karma Group to do a publicity of this sort. A sales guy who gave us a nonsense 3 hour presentation of their hotel kept bragging that the Chairman of the Group is an Australian but Im sure Mr. Chairman is not aware of the kind of cheap pulicity his people are doing out there & ruining the name of thier group.

CSM dont lose your guest to such crap!

It was a chort and sweet trip with family and friends. Hired a prepaid taxi from Dabolim Airport to hotel for about Rs. 900.
The best part of the hotel is it's location...right on the beach. The hotel is little expensive about Rs 2500/- per night. The rooms are neat and clean. Each room is a little different. Try to stay in suite 14/15 as they are beach facing. Did face a problem with AC not cooling properly in one of the rooms we occupied. The food is also good . We just had one meal in the hotel. When you are staying on the beach, how can you not eat at the shacks ? Evenings were spent at the beach. The shack staff lays the table right next to the sea so that you can enjoy a candle lit dinner by the beach in the moonlight.
Ate at Oceanic and Bonny's. Mostly had fish ..mackeral , tuna , prawns .

Weve just returned from yet another fantastic, amazing holiday in Goa and im so sad to be back. One of the reasons im sorry its over is the Colonia Santa Maria.
This really is the best hotel weve stayed in in Goa, and weve stayed in a few. I had always wanted to stay in this hotel before but we always had our kids with us and the rooms only hold a maximum of three so it hasnt been possible, but this time it was just me and my OH so this was the only place I wanted to stay (so glad it was available).
The location is totally fab. The main calangute to baga road is at the top of a very pleasant road to walk along and then the other way down the road is the beach which is literally 2 mins walk away.
The room we stayed in was opposite reception with a lovely view up and down the road, ideal spot to watch people going about their business when we had returned from the beach. It was totally spotless and our bedding and towels were changed everyday by our lovely room boy sandeep. It was a nice strong shower which I like and the towels were fluffy and nice and white. It was quite a large room aswell with a living area with settee and fridge (and plenty of power points which is unusual).
All the staff around the hotel were really friendly and we even decided to stay around the pool a couple of days which is not like us in goa because we love the beach so much, but the pool area was so clean and nice is was a shame not to.
There is a lot of security around the hotel which is good because the rooms are both sides of the road, but the road is very narrow so I dont mean they are a great distance apart.
There is a lot of bars along the short road up to the main road including a couple of good restaurants incl: Cafe Lazy Days and Fire and Ice, infact everything you need is all around you including shops for water etc.
We are going back next year definatley and this is the only hotel I will be be looking at staying in, I would serioulsly recommend it to anybody, if you choose this hotel then you have made an excellent choice.

Very good hotel located just steps away from Baga beach. Service excellent espcially by John who is the night receptionist. Always saw management presence and very approachable and friendly managers. The USP of this place is that its close to the beach, has its own private sundeck area overlooking the sea (offered free of cost for hotel guests) and you can even order drinks and food while toasting away in the sun. Its close to the markets, restaurants, pharmacies and dental and general clinics.

Loved the fact that managments is always visible and available to talk to. Friendly staff, especially John on reception

well run hotel with friendly and helpful staff. book a premium room and ask for blocks 14 or 15 preferably ground floor as they have the best balconies. it is possible to upgrade on arrival and cost us 500 rupees per night. Reception staff jenifer, natasha deborah and anita could not have been nicer and went out of their way to search internet sites when I said I needed to find a particular shop. The rooms were nicely furnished with good mattresses and pillows . Sea views from the balcony and next to the beach.
