First I would like to say being a cabin crew I stay in 5 star hotels all the time. Its the same experience wherever I go. Waters was introduced to me by a friend. I have been to goa 7 times since Dec 2009 and there is no other place I would rather stay. It has 11 rooms all based on a different colour theme. I have stayed in 5 different rooms and every detail in the rooms exceeded my expectations. Contemporary furnishings in a portugese style was more than I could ask for. There are 2 suites with a personal terrace. The hotel is surrounded by lush greenery and is in the heart of baga. Everything from restaurants to clubs to the beach is 2 mins walk. Its away from the main street therefore giving us all the peace and quiet. The tariffs for the hotel is very reasonable compared to the exorbitant prices offered by other hotels. All in all its a good bargain for the quality of rooms and the location. The staff is extremely friendly and more than happy to answer to any requests and queries. The hotel offers free breakfast which is round the clock making it even more convenient for the party goers. The rooms are fantastically clean and have a portugese feel to it. I would really like to commend the owner to have put in such an effort to keep the essence of goa and giving it a contemporary feel too. All the rooms are centrally airconditioned the hotel has a decent pool which hardly any other hotels that are in the same price range offer.
Having read the reviews of other guests I want to mention that whatever negative points have been brought up are unnecessary. If people want all the things that a normal hotel offers than they should stay there. The prices are very very reasonable for the service and accomodation they offer. Yes they do charge for the airport transfers but with the prices of the accomodation which is very minimal its acceptable.
It has been the best experience in goa. If you are looking for a pure goan hospitality I highly recommend this hotel. Very good and very understated at the same time.

I had never been to Goa and since december 2010 to feb 2011 i have already been there thrice and stayed at Waters on all my trips.
The hotel offers a very serene and calm experience despite of being in the most busiest stretch of North Goa. Food and getting around is hardly an issue because of its prime location, 2 min walk and one can pick and choose what they want do.
Waters offers ultimate relaxation to those who seek peace and quite. The staff is friendly and willing to answer all of your questions. The rooms are posh and no expense was spared with the quality of things used. Comfortable beds!! They have decent size pool which is clean and a nice area to lounge by the pool too.
The hotel also organises 2 wheelers on daily hire basis for ur commuting needs.

This is a place to go if you want to relax, spend a day on the beach, shop or party. everything is within 2KM radius. I would love to stay here again and will recommend it to everyone.

While booking the hotel online, we clearly stated our expectations- Clean room, closer to beaches, clear view from balcony and preaceful surrounding.
What we got was a total disappointment.
Positives- This guest house is close to Bagha beach and all the happening places are around only. Still it is at a road slightly inside so no problem of roadside crowd and noise of vehicles. Rooms were clean and the colors were great. Service was minimal but not interfering
However, that’s not the only thing you expect when you book a room at Rs. 3000.
Negatives-
The Room had no balcony, and there were just two windows which were opening to a gallery where staff was roaming. Outside the main door room was also another veranda where staff and people from other rooms were roaming. So there was no privacy apart from our room- that too when we had to put on the curtains. And if you close the doors and put on curtains, the lighting in the room was so low, that it was really depressing. And if that was not enough, the walls were made of such a material that even if the guest in other room was switching on the light, the sound of switch was coming in our room. Top of that, our neighbor had a noisy kid who was wandering in front of our room creating all types of noises forcing us to leave our room as soon as possible.
The complimentary breakfast had egg, toast, and some other Indian dishes but not a great option at that price.
Certainly not recommended for couples who want a peaceful place to stay. This place can be good for people who don’t want to stay in room and want to roam around. But Rs. 3000 is too much for that crowd. And the place nowhere justifies the amount they are charding.
All in all, I would have not complained had I come here without any expectation which I had from this guest house.

I am pleasantly surprised that a place like this is available in India! I have been to Goa before and all over India. more often than not websites over sell places. Surprisingly, this is one place which superceded my expectations. It is very exclusive and superbly designed hotel like the boutique hotels in Europe! the rooms are clean and contemporary with true goan charm and all possible comforts and all this at a superb price!!!!!! Totally loved my stay here. I had booked in for a 3 day stay but it felt so good here tht i had to extent my stay by another day. this place is so close to everything still so away from the noise and transports you to a quite abode. I am in two minds whether to post this or not as i would really like to keep this place a secret :) but what the hell... writing this is the least i can do to express my gratitude for the great time i had here!!!!!!
cheers

This place was recommended by someone to us and we went rather sceptically. However all our apprehensions were put to rest once we reached there. It is a beautifully designed place with each room being unique and based on a colour. The attention to detail is amazing and the rooms are very comfortable apart from being gorgeous!

They also have a small pool which is great to just relax in and have fun.

The service staff were all very pleasant. They were available for any need and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable.

The only issue is that the complimentary breakfast just consists of toast, eggs and fruit. If this could be made better, the place would be perfect.

I'll start with the positives for this hotel: it's in a good quite location off the main street in Baga, the rooms are air conditioned and nice. But in all my travels I have never struck such terrible customer service.
Here is a list of some of the problems:
• Organised airport pickup wasn’t there, so we repeatedly called the hotel and eventually the driver arrived about an hour late ( we waited because the hotel kept saying he was only a few minutes away ).
• Room was not ready on arrival, it was getting rewired when we arrived – there was tools, electrical wiring and plugs all over the bed and floor.
• When we went to leave we found out the hotel had given our passports to other guests, and these other guests were already back in Mumbai. We ended up getting our passports back, and it’s fortunate for us that you can fly internally in India on any Photo Id.
• Make sure it’s clear who is covering the rubbish airport transfers. They will say they are covering them, but when you get to the airport you’ll be asked for money. I called the hotel and they just said I should pay.

It really annoyed me that this hotel were completely not apologetic about anything during our stay ( for heaven’s sake the lost our passports! ) and in the end they were dishonest.
