Waters Boutique Hotel

If you are visiting Goa during peak seasons, when a single bedrooms rent borders on "that's unreal" to "that's absurd", give Waters a serious consideration. It is nestled in a nice place just off the Baga-Calangute main road. Do not expect the VIEW from your room, but enjoy the rustic cement tubs in your rooms. We have stayed a couple of times and always in the same room which is located across two levels.

The pool is small and smart, but can put you in a spot of a bother if there are more than 5 people willing to stretch their afternoons by staying in the water. The small library allows for an afternoon browsing.

The food served is tasty but not spectacular. I have never had a bad experience with food at Waters, but I cant tell the same about some of the upscale restaurants located just out on the main road.

Rent a two-wheeler the moment you land there. Provides you awesome flexibility.

The last time we visited, we still had to call up to book and then pay through online transfer. There isnt a convenient way to pay it online, guess most of the Goa hotels infrastructure is built that way.

If they continue to hold their prices at where it is, I think its a good deal.

let me start with the lemon tea here its amazing.

good size rooms, small wash rooms, got wifi a small pantry and a pool to relax tucked away in the middle of goa next to baga beach.

i recommend this only for the people who want to be where the action is.

very decently priced. good value for money.

rooms are very simple no luxury also the electricity goes pretty often.

Situated at a walkable distance from Baga beach, tucked away at the end of an unpaved road, off the main road, this lil guest house shows no sign of the mayhem and madness that happens on the main streets. All the rooms are aesthetically decked up, each in a different color scheme. I was pleasantly suprised to note that the actual room looked exactly as given on the website. The suite rooms (white, red and olive) on the top floor are absolutely beautiful and is worth the extra money you have to shell out for the same if you are planning to spend time indoors. The rooms and the washrooms were neat, and was cleaned daily. We were a group of 30, and had taken up all the rooms at the guest house except one. (My sincere apologies to that 1 customer who had to put up with us). Lesli, the manager, along with his team were extremely helpful and courteous. The staff went out of their way to ensure that we had a comfortable stay. The guest house has a small pool near the reception area which was well maintained. The place is situated very close to numerous shops/ restaurants/ pubs on the main road. The breakfast included in the room cost was basic consisting of pooris, bread, eggs etc. We did not have any other meals here. I would definitely go back here during my next visit to Goa.
Note: The rooms are divided between the three floors of the guest house. This place DOES NOT HOUSE AN ELEVATOR. Do take note.

Room Tip: The 3 suite rooms on the top floor are the highlight of this guest house.

We were living at waters for the 4 th time and it made me write this again for one more beautiful holiday. Thank you to waters staff for making it more special for us. We were staying at white suite. Though goa offers good food outside, but we prefer to it at waters major times. From waters, many other beaches are closed by. We travelled to morjim, ashvem, candolim, anjuna from waters and make it very easy for us. Waters has been very customer friendly place. It is surrounded with coconut trees and jackfruit tree. and it has small and nice swimming pool. Must go place. Very economical and pocket friendly.

Room Tip: Normal rooms are good and white and red suites are nice. Clean . Quiet.

First of all, the place looks exactly like in the photos so you really do know what exactly you're getting. The rooms were spacious and color themed.... a nice concept.Theres a nostalgic feel with the deco but well maintained. Bathroom was huge and clean. Location wise it's perfect, tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the main road but still in close proximity to the beaches and clubs. Breakfast is simple and you have a choice of being served in your room! The staff are very accommodating , a special mention about the lady at the reception who was so courteous and helpful. Oh yes the bed was soft and nice, perfect after a day at the beach A good boutique guest house and really good value for money. I'll be back again very soon:)

My partner and I chose Waters Resort after looking at many hotels. The coloured theme rooms attracted us at first. We booked a suite and ended up in the lovely 'Olive suite', we were not disappointed at all. The staff at Waters are the most accommodating i've ever met. The receptionist lady is so helpful in helping you plan your days and arrange taxis. All the staff will help you with whatever you need. You can call down to reception to order your choice of breakfast and you can do that whenever you wake up - there is no time constraint! Breakfast is a choice of english or Indian breakfasts, with fresh fruit, juice and tea/coffee. Waters is tucked away of the main street so it's quiet but, a busy strip of shops and restaurants are just around the corner. The walk to the beach is just 10 minutes, it is a great location. There is free wi-fi, great affordable room service, satellite tv with plenty of english speaking channels, and daily cleaning when you request it. This was my first time in India and I would recommend Waters to anyone.
