The service was just terrible. Have never come across anything like that in my life. It was meant to be a relaxing stop over on a Sunday afternoon which turned out to be a disappointing encounter with the rudest staff ever. Such a turn off.

Nice place to go for lunch, lovely drive. We arrived to be greeted warmly by the owners and had a wonderful meal with gorgeous wines. Service was fantastic warm and friendly. We are looking forward to returning and have already booked again.

Only a smallish place, bigger when it's a warm day and the doors can be opened up onto the tables outside. Lovely views out over the vineyard and surrounding countryside.
We found the food to be really delicious, but the whole experience was let down by the service - despite there being a number of staff attending to diners, I almost had to shout at them to get their attention - and even when we did eventually manage to do this - the foooood and the drrrinnkkkkss were a verrrry long time coming.... Staff seemed more focused on the dirty plates than the PEOPLE they were serving! We had kangaroo with a shiraz chocolate sauce, a really lovely delicate sauce that went really well with the roo, accompanied by sweet potato mash and juienned caramelised beetroot.
I'd go here again for the food, and the wines were pretty good too, but be prepared for a long wait. Cost - mains were about $30, deserts $14. Only 2 choices for entree - a hot, or a cold, tasting plate to share, for about $30.

The menu at this place reads really well - but the food is just a bit meh. It was nice but just not as good as some of the other places just down the road.
The best part was the pinot noir we had with lunch that was beautiful!

A family owned winery and restaurant that is boutique, clean, elegant and presents a high standard of both food and wine. We have taken many visitors there and never been disappointed. There is an interesting selection of original indigenous art on the walls and the view outside is of their own vineyards, capped by rolling hills in the distance.
Open for lunch only. Reservations recommended on special weekends and in the summer.
