We stayed here for 6 nights in January 2015. Although we have been to many Caribbean islands this was a 1st visit to Grenada.
The island is beautiful with charming, friendly Grenadiens everywhere. We hired a car and travelled around when we could tear ourselves away from the house. I think you definitely do need a car when living here but that's no problem at all.
The house is a fabulous modern, comfortable minimalist building that is a delight to live in; the pictures do it justice. The pool, although not Olympic is totally right and perfect for the property.
The restaurant, a mere 200 yards away is excellent ( we went twice) and the hosts there are delightful. Ingrids place further along the road is also well worth a visit; a charming woman.
Whatever else you do (or not) visit the cocoa plantation, a history lesson indeed.
Excellent value for money and Devon the housekeeper is an asset.
To avoid: a barely signed one way street in Grenville or pay 150 ecd fine!!
