We stayed at the Thorndyke for a night but did not realize they served evening meals. We were very pleasantly surprised to find they did and to discover that the meal was excellent. A varied list of appetizers and entrées at reasonable prices with a small but good selection of wines. We really enjoyed our meal and the service was excellent. If you want to go, be sure to reserve. The night we were their, people were turned away as they did not have space. Seats around 30 Max but more like 20 comfortably.
Not to belittle Grand Bank, but far better meal than we would ever have expected there.
