Dined here with relatives whilst on a driving tour of Canada. When they told me the approximate cost beforehand I thought a bit expensive, however the food was some of the best I have tasted anywhere, the service impeccable and the location and ambiance first rate. The restaurant is situated in the midst of a large vineyard with extensive views (we visited in the evening but returned the following day to tour the vineyard and purchase some wine). but back to the food everything we had was cooked to perfection and complemented by the excellant wine, served by the most welcoming and friendly staff who had the knack of making you feel like personal guests. The following day we did a tour of several wineries in the area tasting several varieties of grape in each location (good job I was not driving)! All the wine was of a very good quality as good as any I have tasted anywhere can anyone tell me why we cannot purchase Canadian wine in the UK?
