“Wine and dine over a million dollar view”
Reviewed July 18, 2013

If you are looking for an upscale dining room this could be one of the best in Oliver. We had lunch on the patio with a breath taking view. Besides the numerous fine wines you can try, they also have them paired with your meal.We recommend you go to the retail side first for some wine tasting, if this is your first visit. It will give you a chance to try a few different wines before you decide to eat. We both had and enjoyed a different artisan pizza. The menu is varied and the service was very attentive.

“Great location.. average food”
Reviewed July 18, 2013

We went there for dinner with our 2 children. The location is very nice.. we ate outside and the view was glorious... The food was ok but not worth the money they charge for it. I t felt like they were trying a bit too hard... fancy dishes that did not quite deliver.. Service was excellent..

We appreciate you taking the time to write a review. We are happy you enjoyed the atmosphere and the view! We will always welcome children into the restaurant offering them a kid's menu with some very nice options, including dessert. On behalf of the Miradoro staff, I am sorry you did not completely enjoy your dining experience. Be assured that your concerns are important to us and that we do hope you join us again. Best regards

“Disappointing food, great view”
Reviewed July 17, 2013 via mobile

The view is great, however the food is lacking. This place needs to go back to basics. Tons of great produce in the summer and the halibut comes in a less than desirable sesame soup with some floating peas and drenched zucchini spaghetti. I didn't get the dish but more importantly, it didn't taste good. My husband had the lamb and it had a strange taste also. The meatball appetizer was delicious though and so was the desert. I just don't think this winery restaurant is cutting it for fine dining. Halibut on kale and fresh oak again vegetables would have been far better. Too bad, it's a nice view but not nice enough for us to return.

Dear Guest,

Thank you for taking the time to provide us with feedback. On behalf of myself and the staff here at Miradoro, we are sorry you did not enjoy the forno roasted halibut. Miradoro is modern wine country cuisine, the food pays homage to the bounty of the Okanagan using culinary traditions of the Meditterrean. We are happy you enjoyed the albondigas and the housemade desserts! Thank you again and hope to see you soon.
