If there is a dream come true, this is it. The winery is not only beautiful, but the views are wonderful Imagine having lunch with a broad and spectacular view of the vineyards. The tasting room is tasteful and serene. Don't miss this one.

This was our third visit to The Guest House - the first was just as it had opened and wasn't quite finished so it was great to see the Guest House all grown up. We love The Sonora Room Restaurant so being able to stay and have a lovely dinner and bottle of library wine is a real treat. If you stay mid week the prices are less than the weekend. The breakfast cooked by Iris and others is absolutely lovely and makes you feel as though you are getting a home style breakfast. There is so much too choose from - fresh baked banana bread or muffins, fresh local fruit in yogurt, egg nests, mini quiche, local cereals, fresh fruit and the list goes on. The 25m pool is lovely and since we were visiting in the summer it was lovely to use as a cool down from the Okanagan sun and from a round of golf.

The added bonuses to this establishment is the fact there are only 10 rooms, it is mostly adult orientated, the rooms and bathroom are spacious, you have a lovely deck to sit on and again the room comes with the yummy breakfast in the morning. While the it is quite pricey, the limited number of rooms and peace and quiet make it well worth it. Plus being only steps from the restaurant.

We have always been treated very well and view this establishment as a real treat to stay at. We will definitely be back!

The Guest House is surrounded by such beautiful scenic wineries. The view is stunning. Upon check in Joyce was very helpful. She walked us to our room and showed us how everything works. Bob was very nice as well. We were in room #10. Definately a room worth asking for. I's on the upper level in this room the windows face both sides of the wineries, so you get 2 views. Spacious room! Very well laid out, nice sized balcony. The pool is nice and has a hot tub. The restaurant on site was great. The food was delicious!! However on the downside if you are sitting outside especially during dinner time, there are lots of fruit flies and even with a glass cover you have to be careful. There were some fruit flies flying around during breakfast too. But despite the fruit flies, this is an amazing place to stay. You will have no regrets. It is geared towards couples, so was nice and quiet and relaxing. No families or kids when we visited.

Room Tip: Ask for room #10. If that ones not available, all other rooms are great as well. There's only 10...

Husband and I stayed two nights for our first time at the winery and we loved it. This is definitely an adult location as opposed to a family resort. As a center point for visiting the surrounding wineries, it was perfect. The Sonora Room serves up fantastic food whether for lunch or dinner, and the short distance to stagger home is a bonus. Breakfast at the B&B is an ever changing buffet by Iris, and delicious. The room was simply wow. Wow. We were lucky to have a ground floor king that we could walk out to the pool from. Loved that pool in the high summer heat, btw. We are definitely going to return.

We spent three nights at this gem of an establishment. Beautiful setting in the vineyards if the Okanagan Wine Country. Great staff and quite attentive. The rooms are spacious (only 10!!) and quiet. An idyllic spot to stay.

It can be a marvelous, quiet, relaxing, romantic place as the rooms (bar one which has 2 queen beds) are all kings. But there is a penthouse where sometime there are families with kids which completely changes the dynamic & turns it into a totally different hotel. I've stayed here twice when the magnificent relaxing environment is turned into something entirely irritating. Small kids screeching as they leap on & off float toys is not relaxing & romantic. You can't sit by the pool & relax because of the noise & the splashing. You can't swim because of the float toys. You cant sit on your balcony & relax because of the noise setting your teeth on edge. You can't even block out the noise in your rooms (sound insulation to the pool & to the corridor isn't great. I've nothing against kids & its great to watch them having fun in family oriented hotels. This is not a family hotel: its a couples hotel & you pay a premium for that quiet, relaxing calmness that you expect to get from a couples hotel. I would not choose to pay these prices for screeching kids.
Overall: it can be great & it can be dreadful. A fabulous place to stay for a quiet retreat unless some of your fellow guests bring screaming children when you feel you've been taken for a bit of a ride having paid for A & having to experience B.

I decided to spend my birthday here again a year later. This time we stayed at room 10, the corner room which I think will be my preferred room for next time. Everything was perfect except maybe I would like it that when we come to check-in there is someone actually at the desk to welcome you. Whenever we passed by the desk there was almost always no one there. You would have to call out to whomever was on shift as they were mostly in the back office. I found this a little strange. One can see the guest drive up and come in and that extra gesture of seeing a face to welcome you would be nice.
Better pillows would be a suggestion as well. The ones we had were "bumpy". This time of year brought fruit flies and mosquitoes. Maybe having citronella candle or spray would be nice an extra touch.
