Gorgeous farmhouse in a beautiful location, we received a warm welcome and our room was spotless and very well maintained, as was the dining area - the breakfast was lovely and John had sourced a lot of local food. We had never stayed in a farmhouse b+b before, this definitely didn't disappoint - We would highly recommend it!

We have just returned from a week away at Moorshead Cottages. A great base for exploring the Vale of Glamorgan, the cottage provides comfortable accommodation, as well a comfy double bed - thank heavens of memory foam!

I stayed here for one night whilst visiting relatives in Cowbridge - it is very rural and yet so close to Cowbridge - ideal spot. We had a very warm welcome from John who also cooked a delicious breakfast the next morning. Our room was very nice - the bed was really comfy and the shower was also good. The only downside was it was a bit cold but then we did visit on a very cold day! The other problem was my mother and son stayed in the twin room which we were surprised to find was not ensuite - I just assumed all the rooms were en suite, and having checked on the website again just now I can't see any mention of the bathrooms actually! Would certainly stay again though if the occasion arose.

We visited our daughter in Cowbridge, South Wales and stayed at the bed & breakfast. The welcome was very warm and the owners are perfect hosts ~ present but not over bearing. The room was very clean, modern and well equipped. The shower room was very clean and the shower output very good. The bed was superb and we both slept very well. As the b&b is out in the countryside it is nice and quiet and the views are very pleasant. The breakfast was excellent and delivered exactly as requested. The food is where possible sourced locally ~ the superb sausage and hand cut bacon from the excellent local butchers in Cowbridge, the butter and mushrooms from a few miles up the road and the eggs from the hens in the back garden, you can't get fresher eggs anywhere! Warning ~ if you want too many John the owner may have to rush to the bottom of the garden to get one!! Overall a great experience and would definitely stay again.

Stayed at Sian (The Duchess of Cowbridge) and John`s bed and breakfast for only one night. We wish we could have stayed longer!. This was by far the best place we have ever stayed in, and when you have to combine work with holidays you need places that are good for the soul . This place and these people are very good for the soul.
Superb spotless room, Great breakfast and perfect peace.
Thank you so much and we will be back to see you in the future.

We stayed in one of the four cottages. We received a lovely warm wecome from the owners. The cottage was very dirty and smelt and also the outside are was a mess so we were unable to sit out and enjoy the sun. Unfortunately the owners decided to paint the outside of the cottages while we were on holiday and also clean the windows when we were still in bed so waking us up. I would not recommend this place.
