wow, what a fantastic monument. a fitting tribute to brave men that served in the commando units. What a terrific setting for it, harsh and rugged.

"This country was their training ground" A great way to tie the men who gave of themselves to the wonderful contry they are from.

Getting to see this memorial and Ben Nevis at the same time is a very classy way to do things.

Well done

A must to visit very moving and set in beautiful scenery.I visited because my father was a world war 2 commando and this area was where he trained and he always loved this part of Scotland.
There are now many tributes to commandos from more recent wars and the whole thing is a very moving experience.

The statue is a bit 'soviet-era' like, but not as grandiose.

This is a place for melancholy. Currently surrounded by tributes to many recently killed young men, killed in pointless wars.

It's a place to stop, grieve, remember, and marvel at the beauty we destroy.

Always love stopping here. A beautiful, crisp blue sky winter day and the views of The Grey Corries, Aonachs and Ben Nevis were brilliant
