One night stay for a wedding at Caig Falls.
- Service: Staff were friendly & very helpfull
- Room: was clean, bed was comfy & had a great sleep! Stayed out in the annex, had easy access & safe parking.
- Price: was a good bit cheaper than some alternatives i was looking at.

I really enjoyed my stay here. At first, it was mmmm, not sure the missus is going to like this as it wasnt a bland travelodge/premier inn standard. Things are a little older, but to me that doesnt mean any worse. Had some nice oriental decor in the landing. It just turned out to be a fun place to stay for both of us, had a cracking fresh fish & chips at side of hotel (part of the hotel) a little look round the commando museum inside. so was perfect for a nightvisit.

Room Tip: I liked the upstairs corner annex room - easy/quick access, was nice & quiet.

This is the worst hotel I had ever stayed. The person who took me to the rooms was amicable and nice. But the rooms very opposite to that. Heating was noisy. TV was not good and had disturbances. The exhaust in the bath was giving out a terrible noise, besides hanging loose on some of its wires. Breakfast is not free and no toiletries provided for a GBP 80, a night hotel. The receptionist was not at all friendly. I'll never recommend to any friend of mine to this hotel.

A friend and I stayed here on July 1st 2011 on our way from Somerset to Lochinver - a long drive! Our experience was only good. The lady at reception was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable and we were not disturbed by noise at any time. The bar was quite busy, and the atmosphere was convivial. The food we ordered arrived promptly and was very good. I did not think the room was expensive and I would certainly stay here again.

Stopped here on the off chance. The room was adequate and quite expensive, but the restaurant was excellent.

Absolutely appalling, the polish staff were extremely rude, the Front of House guy voitek i think his name was, was completely arrogant, treated his colleagues with disdain, and was extremely lazy, ordering his colleagues about, while he went for a cigarette every 15 minutes. I suggest the Co-owners do not let him back... The other staff, especially Jenny and Drew were fabulous, very helpful, there were a few hiccups, but Drew assured us that he was quite new, and only learning the ropes - so we didn't mind at all.

The lady on the reception was extremely arrogant, I have been in Customer Service all my life, and i have never spoken to anyone the way she spoke to me, she shouldn't be allowed near the customers!

The beds were awful, the building was in disrepair, almost like it hadn't had any maintenance done on it in years.

The only thing i like about this hotel was the food, absolutely magnificent, i think i will be passing through just for the food in the future, will definitely not be coming back to stay!

Room Tip: book somewhere else - just come for the food!

Stopped off at the hotel, we went to the bar for a few drinks, polish bar man very rude, pints flat, and coffee too disgusting to drink.
Had to refuse my pint as was flat, got a new one, still flat.
Bar man very rude, and place is expensive.
Will NOT be back
