We stopped off here to break our bus journey (27 of us) between Portrush and Banbridge. Had been quite a few times under previous owners and loved the wee place. However this time it was a different story. We just called for some tea/sandwiches and some had stronger refreshments, we were ushered into the bar area which is very small however we were not long in until a load of very noisy young men entered, the noise was seriously loud and they seem to shout to each other as opposed to talking to each other. The management made no attempt to quieten the noise so we can just assume that this was normal for the place. We didn't stay long and would have no inclination to return there. On leaving we noticed that the lounge area was fairly empty so I would have thought that we should have been given the choice as to where to sit.

lukewarm burgers (cold in the middle) and sour coleslaw. Only 3 other customers in the place. Maybe we just picked a bad day.

For a family day out we wanted to go somewhere where we know the food would be great and we would get value for money. We were not disappointed with the Ramble Inn. The food was excellent and the service second to none. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. My sister loved the relaxing surroundings. We would certainly come back again and would highly recommend this establishment to anyone.
