Beautifully prepared fresh tasty food. A great experience. I will be back as soon as I can. Only problem was the difficulty in finding it-nearly in Chatham but well worth the walk.

I visited this cafe with a local friend whilst on a weekend break from Yorkshire. We were looking for a light lunch whilst having a stroll down Rochester High Street.

I agree entirely with all the previous reviewers. The meze-style food is tasty, fresh and delicious. The prices are extremely cheap for what is offered. We both ordered the 4 meze portions for £3 deal. There was a choice of around 12 dishes to choose from, all freshly made daily - around 9 of these were suitable for vegetarians. I ordered spicy lamb meatballs, butter beans with herbs, potato curry and butternut squash with feta cheese. I ordered a pot of mint tea from their extensive range and a slice of baklava to finish which was deliciously moist, spicy and nutty. The total bill for all this was only £5.70 each!!

It is not hard to see why this cafe attracts such a loyal following from it's regulars. The owners are approachable and friendly and show a genuine interest in their customers. The service was unrushed even when the cafe started to get busy around 1 pm as we were about to leave.

Will return soon to try their evening bistro menu.

Excellent range of freshly cooked food with a great atmosphere... Outside Courtyard that comes into its own in the Summer. Prices a lot better than the nearby main Rochester High St.
Meze is to be specially recommended. As is the Raspberry and Chilli tea on a cold Monday morning..:D
