This was my second visit to Jordan Cottage, and it was just as perfect as the first! The cottage is clean, tastefully decorated and very comfortable and I immediately felt at home there. I was welcomed by Tony who assured me he was available should I have any questions. The beach being five minutes' walk away and the weather perfect, I spent a lot of time in the sea, and also walking along the beach and around the town. I caught the Loop bus to Ramsgate one day and the train to Deal another, but always ended up on Stone Beach, which is beautiful and a lot quieter than some of the other beaches nearer the town centre. Thank you Tony and Gina, I had a lovely holiday and will definitely be back again.
A beautiful cottage barely five minutes from the beach. It was a superb little place for myself and my son, cosy and clean and full of character, the very welcoming and highly accommodating owners (who were lovely enough to include all the little basics such as tea, coffee, sugar, biscuits and milk) We loved the big comfy sofa with throws to cuddle up for the evening with one of the many DVD collection on hand.
You are surrounded by the smell of the sea, and the call of seagulls, in the amazing coastal town of Broadstairs. There is something for everyone, with the Viking bay the main beach with fresh seafood, donuts, sand, swimming and a small funfair on far side. Lots of beautiful quieter bays to walk along. The great rock pools for crabbing. Plenty of various pubs, restaurants, cafes... and local shops to please any taste and need, from souvenirs to antiques, to books, to something for your pets e.t.c. And in case you're caught on a rainy day, a brilliant arcade with all the classics and more.
Could happily stayed for longer.... Or forever.
Very nice place to stay in,close to the beach and town center.house has all you need and the area is just amazing! Would deffinitely visit again!
While we enjoyed our stay, the cottage could do with a spring clean it was very dusty in places, more coat hangers would be good as 5 isn't enough for two adults and maybe some hooks on the back of the bedroom and bathroom doors.
The shower needs a thermostatic control because it could actually scold you if you accidently turned it to far,
Having said the above we feel the cottage is quaint and very well placed for the beach and all that Broadstairs had to offer, overall we enjoyed our stay and at the price charged was worth it.
Had a lovely stay ,great location ,nice and clean ,even fresh milk in the fridge ,with umbrellas or deck chairs available to use depending on what the great British weather is doing
Thank you Tony
