“Genuine Italian Food in a Beautiful Setting”
Reviewed December 28, 2012

I can safely say, having been visiting this restaurant for years, that you will not find better Italian food in the surrounding area. The restaurant looks out over the beautiful Viking Bay, serves up generous portions of hearty Italian food, and offers an array of tempting specials. Some say that the tables are cramped, and close together, I personally think this adds to the experience, and makes it seem a more 'Italian' experience (something I feel justified in saying having visited Italy in the past). This restaurant holds a lot of sentimental value to me, as my now husband and I visited on the night we got engaged. Having been back to the restaurant several times since, the staff are always warm, welcoming and friendly, and the food absolutely does not disappoint. If you can visit in the summer, take advantage of their generous outside seating overlooking the bay, and I would definitely recommend a carafe (or 2!) of the house wine, excellent value for money, and very nice too. A must-visit restaurant in Broadstairs!

“Genuine Italian”
Reviewed December 21, 2012

Original Italian, not like the fake chains. Be careful not to over order as portions are "hearty" can be a little cramped and good atmosphere.

“Not as good as the Canterbury one!”
Reviewed December 10, 2012

Me and my boyfriend visit the Canterbury one at least twice a month one of our place we love to eat at, my driving instructor informed me that he had been here and he thought it was good, so we decided to test it, however you get less food the staff that we had were not as friendly and it's tiny inside you feel like you eating with someone you dont know because the tables have all been squashed in. Won't be coming back to this one, will be staying a the Canterbury one.
