“Super house in a great location”
Reviewed September 13, 2016 for a stay in August 2016

Our stay in Seagull Cottage was fantastic. The house is beautifully decorated and really well equipped. The children loved the basement with all its toys and the slide in the garden was a big hit too. It was great to be able to walk to a lovely beach (Joss Bay, 20 mins at toddler-speed) although we couldn't find a route that was entirely on footpaths so there was a bit of walking on the road. The donkeys at the end of the road were popular with the children. The location of the house is ideal for exploring the Isle of Thanet and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this lovely place to stay.

Liked best: The house was beautifully decorated and had everything we could need or want.
Liked least: The master bed felt a bit small, and was also very squeaky.

“A spacious and beautiful, immaculately maintained and furnished Victorian cottage by the sea”

Lovingly and sympathetically renovated this cottage ticks all of the boxes and more. The owners Tracey and Richard have thought of absolutely everything providing facilities for all generations should they be required.
From the moment we arrived (with a very tasteful welcome basket) to the moment we left we felt privileged to stay there.
Blessed with glorious weather we were busily building sandcastles in the morning and enjoying the dappled shadow of the private garden in the afternoon al fresco dining of course! Perfect!

“Lovely Cottage, everything you need for a family holiday.”
Reviewed August 18, 2016 for a stay in August 2016

A well appointed cottage with everything you need for a three generation family holiday. The welcome pack was a lovely touch. The garden was great with a slide for the children and the games room lots of fun. Joss Bay is walkable if you just want a stroll but a car is needed when you have a 4 and 2 year old and all your beach gear in tow, there is plenty of parking. The beaches have refreshments and amenities so you can comfortably spend all day there. A good choice of supermarkets nearby to stock up. We stayed in Folk week and there was a lovely atmosphere with street entertainers in Broadstairs. We parked easily on the street about 5 minutes walk away. Fantastic day out to Dover castle.

Awesome cottage with great access to coastal adventures!
Relaxed times and stress-free. Great service from Tracey and Richard with a very welcome, Welcome pack, and more amenities than you'd have at many homes. Definitely visiting again!

“Everything we could need and more”
Reviewed July 30, 2016 for a stay in June 2016

Seagull Cottage is a lovely cottage and we didn't want for anything. The welcome basket was a nice touch and filled with delicious biscuits, chocolates, speciality coffee and tea. The décor and gardens were just beautiful and the kids were especially excited with the kids playroom complete with Xbox, Wii and table soccer. Off-street parking was a bonus but it really only suits a small car otherwise it is a bit of a tight squeeze. Unfortunately we didn't get to use the BBQ or the fireplace.

“Faultless”
Reviewed July 20, 2016 for a stay in July 2016

There is nothing nicer than staying in a house which feels more like a home. There was everything you could possibly need or want - including a daily visit from the neighbour's cat who called every morning for his nibbles.

The house was spotlessly clean, comfortable, bright , airy and beautifully decorated. A perfect base to visit the Thanet area.

We would definitely stay again if visiting the area and have no hesitation in recommending this property. The bonus was a very helpful owner.
