First sighting of café today but it has traded for a year opposite Tesco. You do not have to be keen on gluten free cakes or beer, dairy free ice cream or vegan cakes, but this 23 seat café caters for all of these. I would agree with others that the service is slow, and I had time to arrange all their food and drinks menu leaflets before my eggs benedict with custard coloured hollandaise sauce and ham arrived. Apparently gluten free people get two crumpets. The cheapest items are some sandwiches or a jacket potato, a selection of DIY salads, omelettes and chilli or pasta. Hot drinks include various chocolates and mochas ,but I opted for an Orangina. The deserts are pricey at £5.95-£6.95,including sundaes and Eton Mess. The kitchen is very hot which may enervate Seth and his team, but the menu may tempt you,or the rarely seen Droste Dutch chocolates on sale. Surprised to get a bill just under £10 with these included.

First we spotted the name then when we looked into the window we suddenly realised what this place had to offer. They cater for wheat free, gluten free, dairy free, vegan. We had a meal here and I can safely say we will be back again soon. The food is great! (I've also submitted this review on Google maps)

We tried this restaurant having seen it mentioned on a Facebook group for coeliacs and it certainly didn't disappoint. We would have been spoilt for choice later in the day but as it was mid morning, decided to go for the all day breakfast. The kitchen (which is clearly visible) has a designated "side" for gluten free preparation and they clearly understand the risks of cross-contamination. The breakfast was fresh, well cooked and excellent value for money. All allergies and intolerancies are catered for and no-one made to feel a "nuisance". The atmosphere was relaxed and informal but the staff were professional and attentive. Would definitely recommend, even for those with no food issues at all.

Having children with severe allergies who carry epipens makes this place quite a find. It's an absolute dream being able to safely give my children things that they so rarely have when eating out. We eat out regularly and it is always the same story that all puddings bar the fruit contain either egg, milk or nuts and most of the menu too. I also often find people's attitude to serious allergy are very dismissive.
The vegan cupcakes are GORGEOUS! Not only is the food brilliant the atmosphere and character of the place encourages you to visit. The owner goes out of his way to accommodate all allergies and to make you feel truly welcome. I hope this place does well as it really deserves to.

Think the title says it really. Why is there another one of these style cafés in broadstairs? The name seems to offer something interesting... But on closer inspection same old same old. And the locals lap it up. Let's get some diversity going on in the light snack/cafe genre!
