The staff are amazing, very friendly and great with the kids, very good vaule for money. My son loves it there and would be there everyday if he could. They have really good "camp" days during the school hols.
I visited Revolutions with my 11 year old son and his 2 friends as a birthday treat.
We travelled an hour and a half to get there and arrived for the 12pm session. We didn't have a plan as such but it worked out getting the all day ticket at £18 gave them the flexibility to come and go as they pleased, including a short drive to MacDonalds for tea and then back again.
If not in it for the whole day, the normal sessions last 2 hours at a time.
This place is fantastic!
The ramps cater for all abilities and ages and due to the sheer size and different areas, there's plenty of room for tricks/stunts or simply scooting/skate boarding / rollerblading without spoiling anyone elses fun. Obviously there were certain parts of the day busier than others but there's an etiquette that means everyone takes their turn at going and I saw no unfair behaviour.
There is a refreshment/tuck shop and before leaving we bought a large pizza for a very reasonable £7. They do tea & coffee which was a necessity for me whilst I sat watching for hours (and hours) but unfortunately no newspapers/mags ...... so as a parent if planning a long stay bring a book!
Also worth mentioning is the staff are all great. Anyone I had the need to speak with were really helpful and seemed to enjoy working there.
Overall, the boys had a fantastic day with little or no effort on my behalf and well worth the travel if making a day of it.
Thank you for the kind review. Glad your son and his friends all enjoyed it and hope to see you again soon. From all at Revolution Skatepark and Climbing Centre
Take my kids here regularly and they love it. Facilities are very good, all indoor, staff, friendly and supportive of the kids esp. the younger ones.
There is a good shop, indoor seating, small cafe, they offer party facilities and also have a climbing wall.
My 7yo daughter and 5yo son have a blast every time we come here, whether it is for scootering skateboarding or using the climbing wall. The coffee isn't bad either!
