“A delightful place.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 30, 2013

This cinema is the complete opposite of the modern multi complex places that so many cinemas have become. It's quaint, old fashioned, and full of character. I feel it would make an ideal venue for midnight screenings of the Rocky Horror Picture Show, complete with people wearing interesting costumes. Located in Harbour Street, it is very convenient for some of the better pubs and restaurants in the area. Go along there, and watch something interesting!

“What a Gem”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 24, 2013

I went to get a ticket to see 'The Lone Ranger' as it was raining. The manager (I presume) Colin was lovely. He showed me round the cinema, told me some history of the place. I loved the personal touch and approach. I was lucky to sit in the balcony. Its so unique, great pitcure and sound quality. The prices of refreshments where so resonable, its a shame these mutli screen cinemas dont have the same attitude,

Been meaning to visit this cinema for many years during our annual pilgrimage to Broadstairs and finally accomplished it this year. Friendly welcome, good price and tea!!! AND cheap fresh pop corn. A unique experience reminded........... Would really recommend a visit.

“A 'little gem' - picture palace next to the beach”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 12, 2013

A charming little cinema with a great atmosphere - showing all the latest releases. Has all the up to date equipment (including surround sound). Comfortable seating - no blind spots. And you don't need to spend a fortune on Pop Corn as you buy your tickets (-:. Go once and you'll want to return.

“Small and quiant cinema....”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 7, 2013

The Windsor Cinema is nothing like modern cinemas with multiplex screens with booming sounds that can be deafening. It shows most of the current films although maybe slightly later than other larger cinemas in Thanet. Its a unique cinema and the unexpected can always happen...but this adds to its charm. Only problem occasionally is when foreign students visit in large numbers and don't understand the words "quiet please".
