“Nothing was too much trouble”
Reviewed July 21, 2013

My trip to the seaside was made perfect by my experience in the seafarer restaurant - food was fab crispy golden light batter and real chips not them horrible frozen things everywhere else seems to serve - the restaurant was packed and the queue for the takeaways a mile long so surprisely I was served quickly and staff were still smiling considering - the A/C was such a welcoming surprise after a long day at the beach. My kids were even given lollipops my the owner which was a lovely thing to do

I'll certainly be back

“worst fish and chip shop ever”
Reviewed July 21, 2013

I was on holiday with my family and on the Saturday 20th we wanted f/c before returning home. The air conditioning was not on,some of the seats had holes in and the plastic glasses for our drinks needed to be thrown away.As for the fish and chips, what a disaster they were. They looked like frozen chips that had been put in the deep fryer. We asked for bread rolls (3) and they came up with burgher rolls smothered in what tasted like margarine and all broke. You do not put butter etc on burger rolls as the name states they are for burghers. What a sham we are never going to that f/c shop again

“Fish and Chips with a Smile”
Reviewed June 2, 2013

This Chip shop has a lot of competition around the Town but we were glad we chose this gem in Albion Street. There were 3 of us and we decided to eat in as we wanted hot drinks of which there was plenty of choice, the tables are a bit on the small side but nothing too drastic. The waitress was very friendly and we didn't have to wait too long despite the restaurant and the takeaway both being very busy. The meals are cooked only when ordered which means all the food is brought to you hot and fresh from the fryer - so much better than sitting in the warming cabinet drying out. I ordered the Double Cod & chips with garden peas, the wife ordered the Haddock & chips with mushy peas and her sister had the Scampi & prawns meal.
The wait wasn't that long and all three of us enjoyed our food and we even got to speak to the owners - Liana & Am, who were both very friendly - The next time we visit Broadstairs we will definitely visit this place again.

“Friendly staff”
Reviewed April 15, 2013 via mobile

This is a perfectly adequate fish & chip shop - nothing to write home about but does the job for lunch. £13 for two people so perhaps a little pricey seeing as we were eating in, so didn't get as many chips as we would if we had a takeaway portion. However, the owner was very friendly and made us feel very welcome in Broadstairs.
