Owner description: Westwood Cross is a pedestrianised shopping centre and has over 50 high street stores, cafes and restaurants. Our anchor stores include M&S, Primark, Debenhams and Next. We also have a Vue Cinema, Casino and Bingo venue on site. Parking is ample and free - all day, every day. We are open until 7.30Pm every weekday. Westwood Cross strives to maintain a clean, friendly and safe shopping environment. Our efforts were rewarded when we were awarded the 2013 Achieving Customer Excellence (ACE) award for best retail/shopping park. We have a team of dedicated and long-standing security and cleaning personnel - some of whom have worked at Westwood Cross since we opened in 2004! There are designated disabled and parent and child parking spaces located around the whole of the car park. The car park is under CCTV surveillance and is partrolled by both Euro Car Parks and our own security team. While you're with us, enjoy a safe and relaxed family shopping experience.

I do like shopping here, there are plenty of shops/coffee places but not too much that you spend all day walking miles. It is also outside which is good but there is shade/cover too. No, there are not many if any 'independent' shops but there are in Broadstairs High St and other places. There is plenty of parking - yes the traffic can be busy at peak times but hey thats becuase its a success! Isnt that a good thing, especially in Thanet in recession times.

Broadstairs is a lovely town, The High St is free of most chain shops and has independent shopping and is also known for its restaurants - you have the best of both worlds.

Good selection of shops as well as places to eat, especially with the addition of the new Primark!

This place does get very crowded around midday so I recommend going early too avoid the hoards of youngsters from the local schools who raid this place for their lunch!

The biggest criticism would have to be the traffic though, it is simply awful and unavoidable no matter which direction you come from, they recently have had the opportunity to expand the roads in the area to reduce congestion but nope! instead they are using the land to build houses and flats right up to the edge of the road to make it that much worse!

Overall, its ok to kill an afternoon, decent place to visit but traffic is a nightmare!

This is a good place to shop. But it's becoming a nightmare because you have to queue for ever and on weekends sometimes cant park. It's a strange place like a quarter of lakeside of blue water. It has enough shops and eateries for non holidays and weekdays but it redefine hell at weekends and Xmas. It needs to expand and quickly

We came here for one reason only, to pop into Marks and Sparks. However, this modern dump is just a concentration camp of CHAIN stores. What could be worse? Yes, lots of shops here, but all these shopping centres, or 'villages' or whatever they call themselves, all have exactly the same boring and soulless shops! HMV, JD Sports, Next, Clinton, Carphone Warehouse. Yawwwwwwwn........................ I`t no suprise that shops in the high streets, including unique one off shops are closing down, when hordes of zombies fooled by branding and expensive advertising, encrouch on places like this. There isn`t even anywhere to have a decent coffee or tea here. No nice independant cafe` where you get nice pleasant service, and a decent coffee at a decent price. No, but they have COSTA-lot and Cafe ZERO. Yuck. Enough Said. Stear clear, and support the proper shops!!!

Good selection of high street stores and plenty of places to eat. Down side is that it's not covered so when it rains - which it did - you get soaked going from place to place!
