The Royal Albion Hotel is a great place to socialise any day of the year. We use it all year and probably nearly every week in one way or another. On a cold winters day the coffee lounge is always busy and welcoming. A decent food menu that if we had a complaint about would only be that it doesn't change enough.

The bar again is always busy of an evening and with the outdoor terracing is perfect in the warmer months to sit and watch the world go by.

Food is normally good but maybe one in ten times we have felt disappointed by either it being a bit on the cold side or not up to the usual standard. As locals we do come back though as 90% of the time we are completely happy.

Not the cheapest bar in town but is good for couples, families and friends alike with a great relaxed atmosphere. Broadstairs wouldn't be the same without it.

A regular visiting spot for lunch or just a snack. A wet and cold day out side so it was lovely to get in and have a slice of carrot cake and and a hot coffee. Great view of the beach and coast even on a day like this. Try the fish and chips yum.

This is an upmarket restaurant/pub in an enviable position on Broadstairs seafront but had we visited the toilets before eating we would have definitely have eaten elsewhere. They were located down a flight of grubby stairs and were smelly, dirty and disgusting. Will never return.

I am sorry to say that the Royal Albion has changed managers and by the look of it most of the very loyal and faithful staff.
It is so sad that such a lovley place to relax and have a coffee and bite to eat has gone down hill so much, unclean, unkept and unloved.
The coffee is dire and so is the service, it is not a place to visit anymore for any occassion.
Bring back the previous manager and staff Sheapard Neame or your Jewell in the Crown will be lost for good.

I had a meal and drink I had to give beer back as was warm and changed for extra cold carlsberg and asked for money back as less expensive. The meal was like eating salt only and I did mention not to add salt when cooking. I will not return here in near or years later until management change.
